Bouguereau in Florence? Does anyone know?
(Wasn't entirely sure where to post this, so I just gave it a shot and put it here.)
I'm going to Florence on monday, and I'd like to know on beforehand if there are any Bouguereau paintings located there, so I wont miss them.
As far as I know there aren't any, but I thought that maybe someone here are more knowledgeable than me, and it would be stupid to miss the opportunity when it finally presents itself.
Rest assured, I am aware of all the other great art located in Florence, and I will absorb as much of it as I can, but a real life Bouguereau painting would still represent something special to me, and would be well worth experiencing.

hmmmm I don't but most are in the US. But what you can do is check out the local Ateliers in Florence, like the Florence Academy of Art, Charles Cecil Studios and the Angel academy of art. Go to those and ask the instructors there.
haha I'm freakin jealous man! I think this a really great opportunity for you! Have fun!

oh great city. Have an awesome time, i had a great time there a few months ago. Got a friend at the cecil studios at the moment, who's loving it and trying to persuade me to go.
I'm fairly certain there aren't any Bouguereau's there. You won't be disappointed though.
