Damn! you got some super sweet stuff here, i really like how you can see the brush strokes in the robo/knight designs, and the colors all fit together prefectly, what can I say, love all the stuff you got here, the last one is really nice, how much time did you put into that?

    redehlert- yep

deez - Thanks man - the way I work is very relaxing actually, whenever I'm stressed with uni or work I just open up Painter and do a speedpaint.

Gridur - Cheers dude - that one took about 10hours I think - most of that was drawing paths in PS.

    Here's another quick head sketch

Hehe just came in to return the favor m8 - im so tired - drawing all night and all day like a madman. 3 hours sleep...
And what do i see in here?
Omg, dude that girls face is truly beautiful! But i prefer your original stuff
And im not so sure it lame if you do it in such a nice way, its paying respect to art and artist you like. And great practice.

Wow...... this stuff is tuff. You've got a kick ass sketch book ... I was just wondering what pencils you used for those Padme sketches ... there great... and I'm a pen so I'm trying to get into pencils.... also were do you find McCaig pics they're hard to find.... Hes got a site going up but its not up yet just a front page saying coming soon.

Well anyway off to work on my pencil skillz .... great sketch book, once again.

    Later.

    Cheers Bojee

Ink_Monkey - I think that pencil was a HB, its a tech pencil, nothing special.

I have the two StarWars Art Books and they have loads of McCaig sketches and paintings. These books are a must buy for any artist.

A real joy to browse through your thread, love the subtle shading you put in those pencil sketches. I'm a big fan of Iain McCaig too.
This one, great motion in that one.

Hey there, really nice faces i must say, even if it's redo art hehe, i really like the shading, only by doing nice shading on a peice makes it to art so it's suppurb, I would definatly want a tutorial on doing them wicked nice mech designs in ps, so i would'nt cry tears of blood if you did one

    Keep it up!
