just fantastic work here, especially like your quick sketches in painter and the pencil work.....
    just fabulous......

have you any tips for drawing girls because i find them really hard to get right, especially the faces, i know that they`re supposed to be softer and rounder and all that but it doesn`t seem to help.....
    cheers...

I'll say just one thing...I WANT MORE!!! MORE MORE AND MANY MANY MORE!!!

That dynamism you impress to every painting. Your pictures seem to be alive...Why to search for a failiure if I can have another drawing!!!

    CONGRATS!!!

have to say, the thing that thrills me the most about your designs is that they're believable. There's a balance between the design work and what's left to our imagination, you've got a real knack for that. Can't wait to see more

It's depressing that your crappy rushed doodle is better than my long laboured work.

Great work man. Hey, how's the job going?

Well, like everyone else I find your work beautifull, powerfull and highly inspirative.

I just wanted to know which square brush are you mainly using with Painter, in particulary visible in this drawing :
That was the feel of the old Square Chalk brush in Painter6, but now, even with tweaks it's not so effective.

    Thanks and keep posting

    yikes

just had a great time looking at your latest works.......yippee doo daa...

The high render car is looking swell.... I hope you finish it, color it and put a bunch of decals on it, haha. No vehicle concept would be complete without the sketchy front back and top depictions,,,ahem.

I am digging the degree of stylisation you employ in the characters..... big eyes, cute little noses,, shapley lips.......mmmmm....good...

The greyscale vehicle sketch ( A quadruped walker) is very nice,,,, lots of in and out on the surface captured real good with a strong single lightsource..... That one might have looked even better if you had set up the perspectival grid first......and maybe just the slightest use of line on the shadow side of things.... but that is just nitpicking, you know....

on to the trio of adventurers,,,,,, I like your graphite a lot..... The things about this drawing that makes it look great to me is the ground..... taking the time to fill in the bg with a little bit of darkness makes a huge diff.....crits.. I think the hair on all three is a little bit repetitive...also on the girl and the guy in the middle it makes less sense in terms of physics and where the masses are coming from.....The rendering of the clothes is a wee bit too straightforeward.....looks great,,, but I think the darkness of the bg could have worked it's way into the figures more,,,,,, and more distinct shadows from their own limbs etc...

hope you don't mind crits,,,,hehe,, you are a real force, so it isn't like I am pointing out sore spots in the works,,,,but I think you could push some of the things mentioned and have a lot of success with it.

    thanks for sharing, you rock

    Bloody Hell!

    Yep, you nailed it.

You might want to fix up the pinching on the lapel clasps, but other than that, it's flawless. How long does one of these usually take you?

Great thread. It is really what this site is all about. ConceptArt. You have a real nice painterly approach to everything you do. I love the gold armor and winged vehicle. Great concepts. Your 3D is very good too. Clean wireframe. I am glad I subscribed to this thread.

    Keep it up

Awsome 3D Andrew!!!!, it looks realistic, and you absolutly "nailed" the feeling
of your 2D stuff, as erilaz said!

    Really great stuff here!

I really like the pencil sketches of the characters! Great form and shapes!

I really dig the helicopter concept. Looks like it could take a hell of a beating while lugging a squad of soldiers around. Is the "camera" underneath the front just that or some type of weapon?

Can't wait to see more from ya!

superb! im completely fascinated by your disgusting style! (I mean that in a good way )

Had a question about the last one you posted. I also see your into 3d modeling, did you use references for 3D to start you off on this last one? very well done btw, seems alot of people are doing that nowadays
