there are so many great artists here - you being one of them. You seem capable of a wide variety of styles which i really like.
The only thing i would say is that in picture like the female nights where you can't see there face - i think it might look better if you could see there face a little better - with really dramitic lighting, becuase you can't see any of there face at all. But this is probably personal prefrence or maybe there not meant to have a face.
Either way your amazing and alot better then i am so take that with a huge spoon full of salt and keep drawing cause you're brilliant!

AndrewLey - This is really a great collection of drawings. You've got a really unique style.

the line "...Jesus spies his prey..." still totally cracks me up.

Man! your painting is absolutely awesome. your drawing are so dynamic also. Your even good at modeling!! thats good man. I admire you alot. I think that your method of painting is very nice. it is evident that your quality of painting is not dependant on the quality of pencil. what i mean is that you dont have to rely on your pencil to have a good finished work yet also your pencils are really strong. Do know what im saying. I love your work man. I think that it would be cool to see like some characters fighting eachother or something along those lines. the amount of emotion that you put into your stuff plus the fact that your lines are really dynamic would be perfect for that kind of stuff. well talk to you later man!!
i think there for i am

    look at my sketchbook

Hey AndrewLey, if that sucks, then keep on suckin'!
I'd love to see you do some more in that direction. By that I mean more creature designs. You don't do very much of that, so you probably just don't feel as comfortable doing it.

    Hey Andrew,

Totally sweet COW entry - glad you're joinin' in the fun! I totally suck at creatures too, but it's a good challenge, bro.
Really enjoyed the dramatic body movement/positioning of your characters.
    Cheers!

    cheez...

Nice job on the contour-like robot sketches.... "Great" job on the mecha shooting off in the street that you did in painter with all the watercolor pooling and spatter, it's my favorite.....Maybe you could introduce more of a linear aspect into the outline of the contour ones,,, or a cutout BG,, more Chiroscuro, you know??? That's just my feelings though,,, I see you been watching some evangelion with the one where the girl is sucking plasma,,,, I too, am totally mesmerized by the blown out edges that they use in the hospital scenes,,,,, really great, simple color choices in that one,,, just like the movie....you should draw more from life and less from pictures,, it really feeds your other work like a frikkin' intra-veinous,

Thanks for posting it is an inspiration.

Jesus! Not only are the drawings glorious, but the render is top tier! How long did it take? What did you use for reflection on the armor because it genuinely looks like the armor is someplace.
