Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
Andrew, I just went back and looked at your first Daily sketch on cgtalk (Number 61), and I'm amazed at how far you've come in such a short time. What clicked for you?
The latest sketch is spectacular. The subtle lighting makes it look modelled.
Erilaz - Cheers bud. Not sure anything clicked. Just been working really hard
m00ftak - Thanks a lot man!
Just tweaked a couple of things that were bugging me on this one.
whow this one is fuckin badass! Simply amazing dude. Sorry I can't say anything intelligent right now
ok, I'll bite. Is that painted or modelled?
anyway, it's pretty damn sweeet.
Cheers guys!! - Its a painting
EDIT: just fixed a few things

Im really enjoying your use of overlays. They seem to be used fairly rarely in most digi paints, but as seen in yours can produce a pretty dramatic effect and feeling of realism. The idea that someone could actually use that armour is rather debatable, but it sure as hell looks like it kicks ass
The last two are cool cool as hell, they look like 3d models. Great pose, great textures.
Awesome work man.
Those last two are so well done. Would you happen to have process pics of them? If not could you show us some whenever you make the next one?
There is nothing wrong with using a photo to help you see things.
No one complains about life drawing,
so take a photo.
its easy, and will improve your piece greatly."
i'm diggin your sketchbook. there's a lot of different things in here too..which is always fun. peace.

Very impressive <> no flys on this puppy
Thanks guys - glad you like them. I'll be putting up tutorials when my site is ready. At the moment the only free time I have for this stuff is after midnight - thats why all my posts are around 2-4am.
Anyway just a quick painter sketch for now, but I might do a full render of this later.

Top o the morning to you!
Stunning work, man, simply stunning...
This post seemed looser before <> my eyes must not have been in focus yet <> or maybe some elves worked on it in the wee hours <> I go back and re post it the same place all the time <> glad to see someone else do it LOL <> anyway great refinements
This thread is shows the best and worst of CA.
The best because it shows what dedication and imagination can achive and the worst because it makes the rest of us look bad
