No issue man, if you dont mind its all good.
Like the step by step, especially the upside-down step. I always love looking at the way different artists sculpt and render their paintings. Very cool stuff.

Something different - I dont even know its just some bushes and shit, and lighting, i was playin around, did it from my head. I dont really like it, i was lookin more at the lighting then anything else, everything else is there for no reason pretty much lol.. Whateva, you guys might enjoy it.

And a study of davinci's womb. Did it in a different style then he did, and did it quick. That guy has some amazing studies.

Besides all this, i know i need to get to work on loomis, i know i say i am going to, too. I just cant get in the mood i dont know why. It kinda sucks, i will soon i hope. I started studyin him before, but now i just cant get into it... I donno! ahhh. Its makin me mad. Ive gotta force myself here sometime very soon.

A quick speed paint from my head, i was going to draw a tree, to see if i could from my head, sorta, and so i added a lil bit more. This was fun, and i actually like how it turned out for a speed paint. Especially from my head.

Wow really nice speedpaint, the tree in the foreground has great ambience!

THe tree in the back gives it depth and creates more of a landscape, but it creates an empty feeling since there's nothing there but the two trees.

The head painting is really great, I didn't know you could render that well. I think it's one of the best paintings you've done. Your landscapes are really good too, they look strange like they could be from a different planet, keep up the great work

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all your comments. Your the only ones that keep me motivated Thanks!

Anyways, i have been totally not drawing for the longest time, havent touched a pencil nor a tablet nor a paint brush in sooo long! I gotta get back to it. Lifes bein a bitch lately, thats mostly why.

I just wrote up this entire, huge msg lol, about what i am doing these days. And i went to post it, and CA logged me out, and i lost it! So im gonna make this one short, i will post what i wrote in super short terms.

Anyways, Ive been outta the mood drawing lately. As i already said, i did this painting in like 20 mins, to try and get back in the mood again. Grabbed it off google.

Then, i did this yesterday, also to try and get back in the mood again, 2hrs Acrylic on board.

Things im doing these days - Well, i bought a new camera Digital Rebel XT, so i have been playin with that mostly, i love it. I want to get more into photography, so that is why i bought it.

Some things i need to do, Draw waaayy more then i am these days, everyday.

Open up the loomis books again, and really really do it! Which i know i have been saying, but i always get side tracked with some other crap. So i have to do this!

Also, i would like to get my paintings in an art gallery. So i am going to be painting ALOT lately. Traditionally.

Besides that i dont know what to say.

What you will be seeing soon i hope:

    - Lots of traditional paintings. Studies and finished pieces.
    - Studies from loomis, figure drawing for all its worth.
    - Perspective studies
    - Colour theory studies.
    - Random drawings/sketches - copies from masters/photographic ref.

You guys wanna do me a favour, push me as much as you can, to get me drawin more Leave me msg's, emails w/e haha, if you dont see me drawing, do me a favour and remind me too I will try and best to stay motivated myself, but everything helps!

Thanks guys, again, for all your comments, you all keep me going.

P.S - to those who just recently commented, sorry but i will answer your questions after. Gotta run.

    Justin.

You have such an eye for colors, Justin, you see these gradations in shades wonderfully. Always enjoy your paintings. Please do them more and more and more. I love them very much. And even more, the perspective is always great in your art. I saved these two landscapes, they are gorgeous and have such a delightful mood, they are not just pretty pictures, much, much more. Sky doesn't have any limit. And the feeling of rest and harmony is very nice.

And you did values very finely in your SP and in nude study . Very truthful.
I like the black bird very much.
So thank you very much. Hope to see more of your beautiful art.
    Sveta

Hey Justin! Hope you're over your slump, I'll make sure to keep reminding you to draw and post!
Paintings look good, I always prefer your traditional works, seems more confident with less tweaking.
Keep posting your studies and great environments!

    HEROIC and archipelago:

I flip it upside down to check for proportions. As well as making sure everything fits together properly. I also painted more on it upside down, if you flip your painting upside down you see it differently. And it is veeery helpful for fixing things. Atleast i find. As you can see from step 9 to 11. Step 9 is where i would have been stuck if i didnt flip it, and step 9 is only about 75 % accurate as to what i look like. Step 11 and 12, after the flip is about 98 - 99 %

Try it sometime, it really works!

    Justin.

    Thanks for the support guys!

HEROIC: Nothing too special man, just graphic design.

Angel of light: Thanks man, havent seen you on these forums forever, or talked to you in general forever!

Anyways, i got part time now, so i have 2 extra days now for art! Thank god. I cant work full time, i need time for my art or i go crazy, my art is number one in my life. Going to try and take things more serious with my art. Maybe make a bit more money from it, as well as use my free time to study anatomy and other good things. I now realize when you do get stuck working full time. How important time really is!

So i will be showing work again. Still not as much, but i will try!

    Thanks guys!

    Justin.

Hey guys, been gone forever i know, i posted this on my Deviantart page. Thought you guys would be interested in reading it, to see what im up to these days.

Well basically right now, ive been cuttin it short on the artwork.

Just taking time really having fun with friends, enjoying life, getting girl friends.

Enjoying the smell of fresh air in the morning on my way to work.
Enjoying the taste of a nice hot coffee when you are half asleep at 5:30 am in the morning, getting that feeling of waking up from your fatigue state of mind.

Looking out the window from a coffee shop admiring all the life and people, thinking how there day is going, and what i should be doing with my life, and how i can make it better, or is it already at its best or worse.

These are some things i threw behind me when i really started to focus on my art. Sometimes you get so caught up in your work(my art) for example you forget all other things. That may be a good thing, but i don't think it is healthy. I enjoy life so much it is so hard for me to just sit there and focus on my art,

Friends are one of the best things anyone could have, and i can't afford to lose them. I love drawing/painting, yes. But, im just taking a short break Just slowing it down a bit. Like i said,

    Livin dah life.

I would love to thank all of my admirers here on DA and on other sites, including all of my website visiters/fans. You guys are really great. If it weren't for you all, how would i know where i stand? Thanks guys! I hope you all continue to view my work.

Just a brief little statement of what im doing ^

    Cheers,

    Justin.
