Here are some of my drawings/sketches... my favorite thing to draw is people and big, brawny oversized muscle guys, so here it is... crits are welcome if you guys want..

first of all, nice concept/pose. i think what would benefit you mostly is to study human anatomy... take some life drawing courses/sessions. just become familiar with human anatomy! then draw somethin like this and ur good. keep it up
thnx odds, i'll keep that in mind. neways, here's my favorite gnome, Saswani...
here's one i did for thunderdome.. not my favorite or best ones either but its alright...

and another one... i wonder what attracts people to your sketchbook?
That is one of the questions philosophers have been trying to solve since the time of the pre-socratics, some say we can never know, some say through countless hours of meditation it can be achived...Originally Posted by syrisand another one... i wonder what attracts people to your sketchbook?
Nice improvement and i'm really liking the hands on the last one.
My crits would probably be out of date, so show the people what you've been up to over the last 2 months...
y thankyou mr. badger, you've given me some hope to post again
here's a picture of a warhammer character overlyporportioned(sp?) he was sitting in the sketchbook for the last couple weeks, thought i'd upload him and see what u guys thouhgt. crits always welcomed.
overly proportioned... i think
I'm guessing a chaos warrior. I like the big hands, says something about the power.
Not sure about his groin and when that twist from profile to 3/4 occurs.
I like the riveting (sp?) though.
Anatomy needs work, but thats pretty hypocritical of me to say.
I look forward to more.
thanx for the crits badger, i know he's way overporportioned.. i hope this one is a bit more proportioned, tried something a lil' different for myself when i did this one, used ink on the pencil. i like how the tattoo came out though
cool stuff mate!
are you in the thunderdome? if so, i look forward to your piece.
are you painting or just doing pencils?
i haven't decided myself. since you saw my sketches you know i've an affinity for finished pencils. just love all that smudgey graphite!
but i think i'll paint, use painter & photoshop, just to challenge myself.
keep with the anatomy and figure drawing studies. you're looking good. i personally love to sketch at the mall. learning to take quick visual notes as people walk by or sit in chairs or fix their hair is an excellent way to recognize how muscles and weight affects balance, structure, and form.
that sounded way too art schooly and i've never been to art school so i'll take that as a que for me to shut up now. lol
later man. see you in the Dome.
y thank you mr. kauser, and yes i think pencils are the best type of media. i think i'm gonna try some color, but not bold enough to post it yet
I realy like this drawing and i wondering if im gonna have it tattooed, but I would like to see it finished first. Could you maybe draw rest of the legs and the arms? I don't know how much work it is, but it would've been great if you did it.Originally Posted by syristhanx for the crits badger, i know he's way overporportioned.. i hope this one is a bit more proportioned, tried something a lil' different for myself when i did this one, used ink on the pencil. i like how the tattoo came out though
