keep going . From the looks of it - just comparing older stuff to newer stuff..i see a lot less of those curvy bubbly lines...which alot of beginners use too much. Push that...mix up the curvey lines with straighter lines. And draw from life. I'll type that again...draw from life draw from life draw from life...Direct observation is the best way to improve yor skills.

good luck...keep posting...and painting with coffee!

I can see why it doesn't allow U because they aren't in gif or jpec format. U should try photobucket.com. It's free and easy.

The best pic size for the web is H 640 x W 480. I also recomment saving your pics in JPEC format because it takes less space and less time to download to view the pics.

you ain't possibly the marvelous Mattes Klütsch, ex Herder-School-Student, notorious for NOT being a mathematical genius? ;-)

btw, love that coffee-piece (yeah, coffee really is a nice medium)

PeteParker- No, I'm not Mattes, but that math-thing might be 'klütsch' related...

Karma0Zero- Yes, I hate ears... don't know why, but i always get 'sloppy', when drawing them... I draw for about 2 1/2 years.

Robolus- Hi Robby! Leider habe ich keine Zeit, ausser Abends... Aber ihr seid natürlich willkommen

Only a small update again, my scanner is killing me... I'll buy a new one next week... (btw, sorry for the crappy quality)

The Barques studies look great, as do the mastercopies. Keep drawing

You´re improving great my friend. The last sketch of the old woman is very good. No crit, just keep continuing.

I really enjoy your studies, they are great! Keep drawing hands! I'm a freak about hands, so I love them. Also keep doing the loomis studies, they will really help you improve. Don't forget about drawing from life, though. Good work.

Many Thanks guys! Of course i'll keep on fighting

I tried to overwork the last Bargue study, after reading Robolus comment and calling him. I tried to be more correct on the single lines, and understand them. I didn't erase the former lines, so you can see the changes.

Hi! Haven't had internet for the last weeks, but now i post again!

    39. Oil after photo-ref.

Unfortunaly it loses contrast and the original colours after scanning it. Is there a trick to scan oils with a better result?
