    stunning... i'm subscribing..

so,hello! =) I hope you don't mind this.. i have a question.. first you draw random sketches/ideas in your sketchbook with a blue pencil/marker? And then.. that "tracing" paper must be those transparent sheets people normaly use to copy images right? you copy your own drawings again? so each draw on the most of these pages were drawn 2 times right? If this is how you do it, then a certain confusion that i have in my head will disappear.. eheh i was just wondering how could you make that many draws.. human body/faces/animals/buildings/etc in only one sheet and with such nice compositions..

    did i get it right?

    cheers!

Guess it's almost time to cal it a day on this thread, CA.org have been kind enough to offer me an Exclusive Sketchbook, and I really doubt I'll have time to contribute to both.

It'll be a members only thread, so if you do stop by here and aren't a member yet, join up and show your support for ConceptArt.org!

I'm in the middle of finishing off some sketch pages right now which should be up in a week or so (I'm going to have to drip feed it I'm afraid, just to give me time to get stuff done).

    bye-bye bump

I'm planning on some process-how-to stuff as well as some finished work (no promises on the last one there!).

So a massive thanks to everyone for your support over the last year and a half, I couldn't have done it without you lot, it really means a great deal to know what I do can entertain in some small way. Please pass by the guestbook with comments, crits and questions.

Have great weekends and see you soon.

    Your freaking awesome!

If I could draw as good as you do.. 'on everything' I'd be a lot further along on my graphic novel..well, as far along as I could be, since I only have bits and pieces of story/ideas..

"drawing straight over the sketch would destroy the line when erasing- hence the tracing paper. I bin the blue lines though"

So you mean if you just drew over the original work.. erasing the blue line would probably rip the paper?

what did you mean when you said "I bin the blue lines though?"

CorePoint, you're probably better off asking in his new thread in the Exclusive Sketchbooks section. You're more likely to get an answer to your question there than here. This thread is sort of closed.

This is a very late reply on my part. ( I didn't get a notification and I hadn't been on here... )

But thank you. I will indeed do that.

okay, I haven't been here for a looong time, I post all my stuff on the members exclusive sketchbooks, I don't have time to keep both going.

Please drop by and I'll try and answer all your questions there:

CorePoint: I simply meant, once I had inked the sketches I threw away the blue line work. Now I'm digital I do the same, but now I delete the sketch layer instead.

    thanks everyone else!

    bye-bye bump
