    top stuff !!

your process is cool: you get such expressive lines. i bought a couple of markers yesterday... think i shall go and get practicing! inspirational work!

love your sense of composition: the sketchbook pages are amazing in their own right but that gangs of newyork pic is really wonderful.

really amazing stuff... can't wait for more!!

thank you all! Here's some top secret game character stuff (but I can trust you right?). The game won't be published and these were unused designs for the same character...

    REMOVED

and here's some environment stuff, before and after the moodiness is applied...

    bye-bye bump

    bye-bye bump

krakel, it's that old favourite Photoshop. Logo's and text work I do in Illustrator (such as the IGUNNY logo). I love Illustrator, really, really love Illustrator. If I get round to it I'll put up some logos stuff....

oishiiniku, I work down in Brighton, looks like you do games too. Do we work for the same company? By the way your sketchbook work is great, keep it up!

again, thanks everyone for your comments, it makes it all worthwhile!

That latest bunch is fantastic! I especially like the guy with the welding mask - great posing. It's a shame the game got cancelled cos it would have been great to see these guys in 3d. Your faces are just quality - are you a fan of Terada by any chance?

I'm not working for the same company as you, I work for er, another one. Now allow me to pry a little further - have you always worked in games or did you do comics or something beforehand? Anyway, can't wait to see more!

oishiiniku, not the same company... guess I shouldn't be showing you this stuff then!

oh, alright, the final one I can though. From the unpublished title, though I did get to turn him into 3D...

    REMOVED

Terada's work is fantastic, but my influences are more from European comics, though lets not forget Otomo I guess.

I got my break in games through comics which I did a bit of years ago. I enjoyed it, but the time pressure was too much. I don't find games as fulfilling (2 years work sitting on my hard-drive due to publishing issues etc), the hours aren't as bad as comics though and I find the pay better.

Mike, thanks, I've been admiring your draftmanship on your dragon thread, excellent work. I've been planning to get something done for that thread. I'm more of a character guy, so I have to push myself to look at other stuff, environments and creatures etc.

Anyway, to go with the dragon stuff (it's coming), we have these guys: the Dragon Fishers(WIP). I'll exlain more at a later date....

    bye-bye bump

not sure of the final treatment yet, but thanks for the inspiration Mike!
