pretty cool style, keep it up the only crit I have is that on the second drawing from the top, the pinkie finger appears to be as big as the thumb, it should be smaller

Nice stuff! I like how you show the smaller unclothed thumbs too, I wish more people did that. You should consider adding color or backgrounds/environments too, it would add some extra spice to your already nice sketches.

i like the pattern you applied to the background on the last pic, those tiny dots, gives it a stronger sence of paper, good idea !

cheers amn, do you remember when we worked on the same project ? many years ago... hehe

anyways, cheers man and keep on updating

This stuff looks really good! How do you develop from your pose sketch to the finish? Do you do an entirely new drawing after you figure out the pose, or do you lay tracing paper over the pose and redraw the figure with clothes? I know alot of people who do that. Anyway, cool stuff!

Hey carlo, you havr great characters going on here, maybe you can try posing their legs different, i mean they're standing the same way.
Anyways, I remember you mechanical stuff from a while ago. You should post it too.

    Cheers

    nice drawing.
i'm impressed with your rendering and costumes. Nice!
one thing i would say is more anatomy, i think.
anatomy study will take your drawing skill to another higher level.

keep it up and keep us updated.

btw, thanks for your comment on my thread. i multiplied the original to make it more panoramic. and i think it looks nicer more dramatic as you adviced. thanks, please come and check some day.

First Attempt to really understand how to paint in PS

    Hey All

It's been awhile since I last posted and I 've really missed this place. I've been trying to juggle my game job with drawing at home on a dinky 4 x 3 wacom that bearly works. But I've been inspired by the work in Concept art.org especially in the past year...big props!!!.

I'm currently interested with Period Costume designs at the moment. At the same time, texturing 3d models has changed the way I draw in PS. I've started to draw in black and white as my first step towards investigating PS subtle tool options...I think I'll slowly integrate colour as I go....but fun as hell I gotta admit.
Cheers to the Community...lots of inspiration here as always.

I'm fascinated by the Mongols at the moment and how they have built an empire 4 times the size of Ancient Rome....would love to see a game or movie on Khan one day....

This one took me about 20 minutes a front view of a mech-like glider.

Welcome back! But all of your images are not loading so I can't be reminded of how good you are. Or maybe it's just my browser? But anyway, that second drawing/painting from your last post is exceptionally beautiful. The first one is really good too, but I think his head is too small for either his whole body or his neck... just minor nitpicking. Still really well rendered and cool design though. Hope to see more from you soon! And you should get a new wacom!

Nice work on the thunderbolt concept, but if you want suggestions on the form, then I must take issue with the front end. The fat, fat, fat front end. I understand that you're going for something rugged like the original warthog, but a selling point of the warthog is its reliability and practicality. Imagine maneuvering your concept, then tell me its practical.

Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome piece, but those were my two cents. I dig your stuff

your stuff rocks man. Always cool to see an artist who can do both characters and industrial stuff. not a common combination.

btw that thunderbolt rendering is really tight. I for one think the chubby front is the coolest part of the aircraft. screw airodynamics.
