    Life study and back concentration

    about 50 solid minutes of drawing..I'd appreciate any feedback. thnx!

    Looks like you're unsure where a lot of things go, muscles, bones, highlights... so it's hard to convince the viewer. Highlights don't make much sense, not sure why but I think it's because you don't have the anatomical knowledge to see the planes properly. Post more stuff.

    The upper and lower body is disproportionate - the shoulders look pretty large for the teeny narrow hips. I think too, you're elongating the torso too much.

    The shadow on the top drawing is too harsh - the light isn't "breathing" in there. Lighten it up some so you can still see what's up in that area between his shoulder blades.
