This has alot of potential I really like the concept of it, careful on the glass effect on the bulb and the shading on the skull depending on how much detail you would like to show.

The scars give it a nice effect though I'm not sure about the gun replacing his hand, it looks off. He has a big bulge and then a flat hand, it just doesn't look right.

Looks like a really solid start, only a few things seem off to me.

Hopfully you plan to do more with that background, the pure black doesn't do it for me.

I'll agree with Chris, that gun arm doesn't seem to be right, though I can't place exactly how it's off.

The composition is a bit too even, figure standing in the dead center, with both arms apread out. Think about adding some more space to one side or the other to really break that evenness up.

I can't wait to see some progress on this one, the pencil is just wonderful on it's own, and I want to see what digital work does to this sucker.

The gun attached to the arm doesnt look right, as mentioned. It is flat shaped while the arm is round. And there should be more arm. On the (our right) right arm, the fist should be larger, keep everything on the left how it is, and elongate it on the right.

I don't like the last version, it looks very paste on. I like your previous ones better.

I suddenly feel like playing Doom...
Great piece man, but I agree on the topic of the gun-arm. I think perhaps if you made the back of it (the part attached to his arm) rounded and then tapered it off into the thin, square barrel it would look much more like it's actually attached to the arm. You also might need to move it down ever so slightly, looks a little high on the arm for the angle it's tilted at. I definately think you should do something that shows off the design, not completely covering up your character like your last version. Tres Bien.

very cool! But the fire seems somewhat copy-pasted, because of the dark edges
