Really nice work in Here. I love the Woman with the blue skulls in the background. Nice!!!
Like a few people said, she looks a bit Dark it could be my Moniter, but if not I say Push her a lot lighter, maybe even make her skin more white, then she will really pop. Great work!

Here, I selected her face and chest and fussed with levels, and color. This is what i'm talking about, maybe a bit too many Highlights at the same intensty, but more of the basic value is what I wanted to show you. I hope you don't mind.

Still impressed by your skills, the last lady is awesome ! I like her ! [ok, she looks evily cold, and dangerous. I admit that] Same question as MattGamer: Did you use Z-brush ? If yes, did you come back to PS for the colors ? I ask you this because I want try something like that since a while.
    Cheers, my friend.

your sketches are very inspiring saved them all I would like to see less black in your painting in shadow areas, more richness in color and value, good luck

masterpug : thank you very much

bhanu : just any pen i can find, usually somewhere around HB. cheers and thanks for the kind words

    Sepulverture : hehehe, thanks

Form : hehe, cool buddy, it was a blast in bruuuuz and hopefully you learned something as i learned from you! cheers

sve : sveta thank you again! i'm actually happy so your wish came through hehe my thought behind LMS2 piece was that i wanted to create a "talking" image and that i wanted alot of feelings but only to be shown if you stared at it for a long time, and it ended up like this, with a sence of "act of desperation" in the humans face. the colors got alittle out of hand but i still wanted strong yellow colors because of the "royal" feel to it.
You at hyvers place would of been awesome! missed ya there!
cheers and i hope happyness is still in your heart!

    demented : thanks bro!

redehlert : *treading carefully in redehlerts domain* thanks bro!

poise : true, thanks for the critique, it was actually not made at my own monitor and the levels hasn't been adjusted. But probably i'll fix it cheers for taking the time, thanks

    Decker : thanks

Thestjester : thanks i guess hehe, i get what you mean cheers!

MattGamer : i didn't do the 3d so..dunno... cheers for the kind words!

Alday.J : yea, the colors and hair is photoshop cheers brother, try it out, it's fun! (not my 3d though!)

Qxzi : yupp, it was good stuff ! thanks!

mentler : *stands up* hehe, thanks bat-dad!

Magic Man : thank you !!

    Eriboss : aaw, too kind!

eol : yea, i tend to go too dark on this monitor, i'll try to change it. cheers!

excellent stuff dude. i've probably commented your stuff before and will probably do it again, i really like your creatures. anatomy's right on. killer stuff, i especially like the texture on this guy: (http://www.bjornhurri.com/sb/06/August/war.jpg) only thing i can really crit is this one: http://conceptart.org/forums/attachm...1&d=1154461467 something is buggin me in the eyes, i can't put a finger on it. i think her right eye might be a little off, i dunno. keep it up.

Hurri, friend! I missed you while you were in the best company possible, really missed your presence here. Really, really missed it, really really really really missed. Because you are one and only like this. I feel so comfortable and relaxed around you.
You wouldn't be relaxed though, I would pull your dreads until you go bald. But we should meet someday, you can always wear some biker's helmet around me.

How was it sketching in Brussels? On the photos everything looks so relaxed and calm, the little yard and casually dressed artists sitting each in their own favorite pose for drawing, very informal. Did you talk a lot? did you argue?
Like your face very much. The same healthy attitude in your face, calm and composed and open enough. And you have that sweetness in face. I know a great word to describe it in Russian, but have no analog in English. Just cheek bones and forehead and nose and jaw, together combined create this impression. No other nose or chin, or cheeks would suit you. Just what you got it's good together. Looks like your face is result of your formation as person. So no plastic surgery for you if you carry some crazy ideas.
May I ask how you look with your hair free from dreads? are they curvy? Just curious.

    Arrrrrrrt.

You are playing safe today, almost all are from imagination, heheh.

My favorite are the doggy and sea creature. Dog has such a funny face, hahah. not a guarding dog, more like fashion designer's dog, he can wear those ears elegantly wrapped around his shoulders, or his owner shoulders, or he can make a turban, or he can make a knot, or he can sleep on the one and covers with the other.

And I like this squid, it has illusion I can stretch my arm and touch it, so good volume and weight in it. Suitable for swimming in water creature, not too heavy.
And still it is a drawing, so this is wonderful.

The rest, well, hard to criticize, they are distorted on purpose, your flaws will be better to catch if you try to draw a perfect figure.
Like your street sketches, mostly for clean feeling in it and laconic language. they have the same taste as photos of your country.

You said some words but didn't' tell much about you LMS2 entry. I just got ti that you wanted to make the human sympathetic, capable to create compassion in viewers. I don't feel sympathy. I read confidence. OK, I need to look carefully next time. still interesting to hear what you had in mind. why he is desperate. because they won?
Bye. You are so kind, Hurri, are you real? maybe you are some body's algorithm? written to make humans better?
I love you, you are so good.

P.S. forgot to ask a question about that pudding which was mentioned. I think about it now very often, imagining it. Yeah, I'm having crazy fantasies about this pudding. Tell me about it a bit, please, what was inside of it? or just say it was an average so I could drop fantasizing about it.

ha Iv got to love this one http://www.bjornhurri.com/sb/06/Augu...stpaper_21.jpg
its just brilliant, nice spectrum, its good to see you doing
both cute and nasty scary stuff, and I really like the creamy
quality of your pencils, your painting and pencils skill are getting
closer, imo your painting its got a bit more puch, but from
the looks of this update, you are really improving on them as well!
    KEEP ON ROCKING!
