Holy craaap, surfing your stuff this paiting jumped out at me! Killer painting! Cool colors like an Ultramarine Blue or Sap Green can work well for shadows when the skin color is mostly warm/sienna-ish. Your drawings are truly inspiring. How often do you get to paint from live models? Cause I'd love to see more piantings like that.

ANIMATION?! I keep getting new reasons to look forward for tomorrow

Great attempt on the wacky perspective, although I think it'd look better if his right arm were smaller to make it look more spread out, but maybe it's just me. Masterful stuff as usual!

hurri! how do you get that cool pattern brush for the chain mail? i dig all dem updates!
with respect to lord fredrickson (seated) right arm:
allow brachialis and brachioradialis to serpentine in there (lateral to the biceps long head) so as to be a bit more prominant. i guess the same thing could be said for the left arm.
    lookin' forward to your animation!
    cheers,
    d

Dude! This stuff is just awesome! One crit though...the monster on the first sketch page...his barrel mass seems somewhat flat. I know i'm nowhere near good enough to crit you, but i'm just letting you know what I see. Other than that, I love what I see. Would love to have an OC session someday if i'm worthy.

Wow, Hurricane, the animation, is so delightful!!!
I sat with my mouth stretched from ear to ear, so happy. So unexpectedly, a butterfly. Thank you, it's beautiful. I, btw had a double joy, because I like still life, yours is very nicely painted. May I expect an animation of about to open up flower .
Some low life eating other lowlife arm would be good enough too, actually.

Look again, man, it is getting so agitated, the poor insect, its wings start to leak electricity . How many pictures you had to use for its fight? Did you reduce the amount of spots on it wings on purpose? is it harder to connect the images with many details?

Your sketches looking stricter, you are using less lines to define silhouette, I think.

    In the post before:
I compared the Lord Fredrikson. Added details are very cool. Face now looks strangely undefined though, with all these sharp edges of the belts and back of the chair. You removed the glowing amulet. I liked it actually, it had a surreal glow, very nice effect.

I like the figure and face of the guy for the Chow. Bending over and looking at something. The face is sympathetic and creepy in the same time. Reminds me the face of the actor, Gary Sinise, a bit. The pose is great, very good impression of him looking with an interest, without any fear at something, discovering something.
And a very good torso of the monster on the first page of the sketches. looks very much alive, like all your art work, actually.
    See you, friend
    Sveta

    Rawr, my little kitten.
Love the animation, how much work did it take you to do that one?
We so need to draw, love the one to the left: http://www.bjornhurri.com/sb/06/March/march_paper08.jpg

    Arr, over and out kitten.

    hugs!

    hey ho.
the animation is lookingg good. that is some damn color quality fo ran animation. bu ti think you could have done the movement of the butterfly a little bit smoother. it seems to be a bit hasty at all. when u think of the butterfly as an elegant animal. maybe it could float a little in the middle of the pot steering smoothly up and down left and right, then going fast and slowing down again. and so on what would be damn cool too is when the perspective of the butterfly would change a little so that u would see from the other side or from the front, while it is flying around in the pot
    ahh i just love animation
