no worries sam, everyone's entitles to their opinion, I didn't mean to sound like I was shooting you down or anything... I was just offering my own opinion up too. Don't be hard on yourself, everyone's advice is helpful cause everyone offers a unique look on the work.

    meow.

Wooo...you and donkeyslayer fleshed out a whammy,,,those are so well done. I was really absorbed in the process,, you went above and beyond with the breakdown too,,, thanks. The two paintings previous (sith, robed guy) are real clean in terms of the logic and buildup..I could see them having been injected with a lot of texture as you were working on them though, because your approach seems so sound and dependable . obviously thr bg's, but whatever, it is a sb thread, and a really cool one.

The hand drawn ship and mech designs are nice. I think you could use a darker tone that grounds them by passing through the major shapes and punching out some space behind the whole object as well. That way you can burn out some midtones with a lighter, juicy marker and render with colored pencils or something, too.

It is nice to see all the different stuff you try out. It's also really informative to watch you get good at something rapidly. enjoying everything except what you haven't posted yet.

Fellah. : Thanks, i like the pattern too!

Some_Guy : Thank you for the kind words !

Groover McNab : Yea, it would be cool to see em move and interact! cheers!

B-Man : haha, thanks man! a stroke is always good

Sam256 : aah, lovely critique! well, lets start of defending my art alittle you are correct when saying that different media needs different aproaches and steadier hand and vice versa... theese tech sketches, blue tones, are drawn straight on, thinking while im drawing, didnt plan anything, but you are correct when pointing it out..but i dont think my painting style doesnt fit into the technoligy department because of some loose paper sketches?...
about that ship pic, first of it was a colaboration with Donkyslayer and we had to compromize... and secondly you are correct when pointing out the size comparison and details...but its a fast picture that isnt worked on for a longer time.. AND i have a sizecomparison, check the bridge, people are standing there... bah, its just excuses that are unnessesary, you're just giving me your opinion Thanks for taking the time to give me your viewpoint and thoughts!

Pencilator : thanks ! yea, the colabs was a blast..... and we had fun this weekend man!

Bojee : i'll try to keep em coming thanks for dropping by!

    mentler
: AAw, im not worthy thank man!

blankslatejoe : yea, we wanted to keep it loose i guess, colabs are funnier that way thanks for dropping by!

Sam256 : its ok, i apriciate that you took the time to reply ! fire away ! cheers !

Gridur : Wow, thanks man !!

    blankslatejoe :

codakromek : wow, very interesting tips and critique... about the textures in the paintings, true, i'll remember that ! and whats that part about a lighter and burning and using markers ? feel free to give me some more insight into that ! sounds very cool! thanks for dropping by!

    alert!!

Hurri, sorry to have piqued you interest man,,,, I was reffering to the possibility of using a lighter colored marker to "burn" out a midtone from a darker ground,,, no fire, my bad man,,don't burn the drawings, I hope you are okay,,, a lot of markers are really flammable and whatnot,,,,I couldn't forgive myself if you got horrible burns all over you...

    This new stuff, great btw....

Colab seems to be the fast track to rapid improvement,,,,If you or any of those doods would be so kind,, I would jump on one foot to get in that shit. really..

    This thread is high-tensile stock

Niceness! You're too fast, bro! I didn't even see all the sketches you made during the weekend. It was hella cool to meet up this time! Even though we didn't get to kick eachothers asses (That's the real reason for the "headache" I had saturday evening..hehe.. Just faked it so I didn't have to fight you).

I'll be uploading my stuff tonight, if I get my computer up and running again.

    peace
