March 29th, 2005 #14
been a slow easter, to much work to get time to work in the sketchbook.
another crappy page, was drawn from a image of constantine but the proportions are all wrong, kinda like the little punisher.
looking at fengs tutorial and was going to have a go at his side vehicle
started colouring it but got fed up with the crapness, guess thats just feng, makes everything you do look crap
doubt ill try and finish this
thanks in advance for any c&c

First time Ive seen your SB and I really love the inks you've been doing. I dont know if you take any figure drawing classes but I'd love to see some of your life drawings if you do.

Most of them should be considered more than sketches

I must say your drawings are quite the cool, but a bit repeative in style. Not saying that you ain't doing good as you are now, but for interesting change try making some more femine characters, with not so much of mucle in it.

i would agree with the above comment.. but i have to say, for drawing for onyl one year you are quite skilled. have you ever tried figure drawing? that helps me a lot... when it comes to drawing a spaceman or whatever, thinking of how his shoulder would bend, or the curvature of his spine... all those details are a bit easier when you have done a million 1 minute gesture drawings.
i love your panitings also, so keep up all the great work!
Drawing is fun.

Sept13 - thanks, funny you saying that as my last sketchbook was all women.
Ladies coming up in next post.
Vantrum - thanks, ive done a bit of drawing classes, at the time i wasnt so into drawing so much of it went out the other ear, trying to remeber all of it again. last sketchbook was more lifedrawign, thats y this one is more concepts, but i guess it never hurts to keep doing more.
