i was wondering if their is anyone out there that wants to BATTLE. if you got it, BRING IT!!!!hehe.....digital, color, time frame open, topic open
I'll take a swing at it. I have a quirky week coming up, so I don't know what my work load is going to be like, but I'm always up for recreational acts of artistry.
I'm a digital artist, so if you don't mind I'd like to keep it in that realm. Otherwise, sky's the limit.

Kill The Party Line with Your Weekly Jihaad every Tuesday/Wednesday!
I'd like to try. Digital art here too, or traditional pencils, due to lack of an art supply store. Topic, I dunno, I'd say something like "Viking victory", because I need to do more buff dudes with horns coming out their heads. How bout it?

Hey, I'm totally new to this forum, but how bout this Viking drawing due by Monday
Let's get it started! I'm about half done.
(Is that ok, blue puppy, since you started it?)
ok, since I just noticed how old the first post is, I'm gonna bring this one back to life if nobody minds.
Subject: Viking Victory
medium: whatever you want!!! digital or otherwise
Due : noon Monday, May 9th
Anyone who wants can join in! just post by the deadline above!
weeeeeeell, the lady has taken control, and its finally moving! other than that.. i do a majority of my artwork during weekdays and little on weekends and may 9 is just over yonder.. hmm, ill give it my best shot.
you can dooooo eeeeeet!
I'll try my best!
since this deadline is so short as it is, let's just do one image if you don't mind too much.
I don't care about the timezone thing. I'm fine with noon for everyone where they are, or whatever is the norm for you guys.
(like i said, i'm new)
at last someone came out with something ... yey more stuff to do ... another all nighter weekend ... hehehe
Bluepuppy: sorry if we took over your challenge.. here's a wip, I'm not sure how good I can get it to be and I haven't competed before so let me know if it's good enough to enter or if I should gracefully bow out.
hmmm.. well i've been home for prolly 4 waking hours this whole weekend. im sorry to say i might no thave it done by tomorrow :/ plz forgive me, ill try and post as soon as possible.
I guess I can't link to something I've uploaded to my ftp, right? I uploaded my image there, but it didn't work.
If not, contest is still on but I will have to post mine when I get home from work. Soooooorrry....
charcoalArtist, very dynamic! (and congratz for posting early)
ok ... how do u submit yer work? i can't attach it, and i dont have a website ... any suggestions?
my bad, here's my vikings ... they look like pirates to me ... my goal was to stay away from the typical viking costumes and dress them up a little lighter
I had some fun with this...I really wish i had time to develop it more...but doing quickies like this are great exercise
ok, i did what i could during school today, so here's what i've come up with so far.
Yes, it has a bit of a modern approach to it aswell.
ok, I finally figured out this posting thing. Good job everyone!
loomer (if that's a quicky I'd love to see a "longy"? What medium did you use?)
Great job everyone indeed - good to see people posting anything on such a short 'deadline'
Me and Syris both have vikings holding heads...the ultimate show of victory!
Annamate - it was done in my sketchbook on a page that toned with watercolor. Then I went in with pencil and a touch of white pastel here and there. Scanned it in, and gave it a super quick "tinting" in Paint IX. If you're interested I'll post the original sketch before it was altered digitally. It looks pretty much the same.
goodjob everyone. sorry i know its late, but here it is...
