Hurricane: Hey bro, I love you to

bumskee: Thanks man. I miss talking to you, haven't been much of that now for a while. I will try to do lots of more studies from life. And just so you know, Prauge was the best experience ever. Wish you could have attended.

OLSEN: Thanks man. Glad you saw it

shyamshriram: Glad you did, I love thumbnails

Bob.Razowsky: I'm trying to stay away from them, I draw less of them nowdays. And now after the workshop there'll be more studies.
    Just keep at it.

Wow, the workshop was just awesome. It's still like a blur to me, haven't melted it yet. But I got loads of crits to work on, that feels so good. I won't do much else than that for the coming week.
I'm keeping myself from posting to much crap here.

I did this portrait for a assigment in prauge, damn that girl had a hard time sitting still. And I think it was about 4am something

    My degenesis assigment.

And sorry for not updating to often

    Hugs!

Ah, you were that huggy guy, weren't ya ? Nice to meet you in Prague.

I really like the thumbnail poses you got there, I think doing that stuff and more studies would do you good.

And Mike Hussar wrote you a whole list of tips in the back of your sketchbook. Keep those in mind.

SirSushi: YEah.. he's the huggy guy that looks like Legolas!

I hugged Legolas in Prague! (Not many can say that..)

It was nice to meet you in Prague.
It seems like your are working on your anatomy and faces instead of drawing creatures. Just like me
I just saw your environment sketches... man, you should go for them. They look very promising! And your marker sketch looks like you could take very much out if, too!
So you are going for the ink now, too.... cool

Miau: Thanks man. Maybe, I don't know yet. I have so much other things on my head right now. I'm trying to work my rendering out.

Gridur: Long time now. Nice to see you droping in. Thanks for the kind words.

van: Haha, you're right, excuses, excuses...
    Glad you like my studies.

SirSushi: Yeah, I guess so. I didn't miss ya out huh? Don't think so.
To bad we didn't get to talk. You seem like a nice guy
Hehe, I look at that list everyday, trying to keep it in mind. He really gave me some awesome crits.

dCept: Haha. Thanks for reminding me about the light.
I love ya man. I really miss you.

johnny78: A man got to do, what a man got to do Yeah, it seems like the right thing to do, the creatures have to step aside for a while.
I'm still searching for the ultimate environement, but I like one of them, so maybe. Thanks man.

I've started to work on my anatomy again, I got some good crits on them at the workshop.
I used to different reffs for this one, so it looks wonky as hell

    Hugs!

Thanks Min. It feels great to have clear goals for now. The instructors crits really helped.

I've been trying to follow a few things that the instructors said. I'll keep those things to myself

Studies of a skull I borrowed from school.

And just playing around with watercolors.

    Hey Pencil !!!

Im so sorry man dude about not posting for quite a while! What
the hell was i thinking, ive missed loads! So sorry about that,
but back to the art.Well, i am impressed. Great stuff here,
love all these drawings and paintings, and you've done LOADS!
Starting with the firgures. Great, i would suggest 1 - 3 inches
of firgures, like your doing.Instead of a whole torso. This
makes you look at the whole firgure. With the arms and torsos,
they look great, but how about some quick notes with them.
The faces, presective and made up drawings look great also.
Love the skull studies, very realtisic, and that oil
painting looks realistic too. MORE MORE MORE

    KEEP IT UP!

Hurricane said it right, you need more darks in those very cool skulls of yours. Make those orbless sockets stare blankly with darkness!

I agree with the above comments WHAT a FCKing nice SKULL man,
really like the proportion and renderings are superb, the way you faded some
areas and mantained contrasnt in others is really pleasing to the eye,
and the little thumbnail studies from a few post below are really
inspiring as well, keep on churning out those studies you crazy sweden!!

Sorry for neglecting my sketchbook. So now it's been said.
I've been up to so much else these last months. Been competing, training, drawing, painting and much else. But now I've taken the bull by the horns and scanned from my sb. Took some time, but it's worth it.

Hurri: Hey boy, been a long time since I spoke to you now.
Was I while since I read your crit, and I had almost forgot until I read it now.

Profil: Thanks. It took some time. I'm not used to sit with my things for to long, but it felt good, I definetly learnt something from it. Now I only have to take this with me to my other stuff.

Fellah: Long time now. Hope you haven't forgotten me

dCept: Finally I've taken the time to scan. Was a while since you told me to update now

Bumskee: Haha, I don't even remeber what I was going to keep to myself Shame on me. Hopw you're having a wonderful holiday.

Qxzi: Thanks man. I hope you'll come back now when I'm trying to get this ol' book on the road again.

MorteM: Hey man, long time since we spoke. Thanks for the encouragement. Take care and draw loads until the workshop.

madplanet: Hehe, yeah. He's right about that.

Maxetormer: Hey my crazy mexican, thanks, meant a lot coming from you . Damn I miss praha. A little nostalgic reminder

Lazy: Thanks. I hope you're getting anywhere with the searching for schools. I've been mailing like crazy for the last week. Haven't got a clue about which school I'll attend.

Thanks Lunch. I really needed that. Next time, aim for the face
To bad I my gesture drawings are to big for the scanner.

    To be continued...

    Hugs!

heheh, is that like the copy and paste job or did u draw all of them? that's some patience testing work, good on you for keep pushing yourself. The hand studies are super sweeet and self portraits. You are making quite a progress dear perre, I do think you should add some contrast though, it's a little faint. keep the anatomy going, it's paying off and post more frequently, not that I can talk..hehe.. cheers bro
