    - Hyptosis's Sketchbook -

Maybe not as stunning as all the rest of you badasses, but just having the link here is incentive to draw more and thatís what we all need to do right?

My goal is that by the time I'm done adding to this thread, the art looks like it was done by a different, more skilled artist than I. Goals are important. =]

A lot of these sketches show real promise conceptually.

To me it seems as if a couple of these sketches were rushed, mostly the paintchat stuff. The coloured works seem to have had more love, but very much in a certain style. Maybe try loosening up a little. Get the loomis books and hogarths, those are about 'realistic drawing'. Also do a lot of lifedrawings. They might change a bit how you approach your work and maybe help you progress to your goal.

That Kay/Cecile picture, goats and the guy with the guitar are my favourites. Your coloringwork is really pretty. Keep posting!

I think you have a real strong grasp on whats going on in the human body that I you may not see such big leaps and bounds, exepct maybe looking back years from now or something

You art is great, I really think your life studies / more classical art is alot stronger then the cartoony/anime/comic style art...I kinda have the same problem...but really you want to focus on realism before you start stylizing and drawing cartoony...

keep at it man, this is really cool stuff

I have a real hard time tightening my images. Like the image right above this post, the ones of the lef tI tried to tighten down on, the ones on the right I sketched in mere seconds. And then didn't try to tighten them any.

Heya look! How are you? =D

Nova, er, wouldn't say perfect by no means, but thanks, you're far too kind! =D

I just felt like trying my hand at some cartoon stuff. I tried to make the shoulder and arms and stuff kind bent wrong and disproportioned, but it doesn't work for me like it does others =D Fun in any event. May work on more if I can ever get time.

    Great stuff

I really like your comic style, its very belieavable, viewing the progession from beginning to now I really see a vast improvement. Keep doing what your doing because its really working. Another thing, you rock with the color, do you use marker or a tablet?
