    Random Ass Sketch

Here's a random sketch I did. There's no real point to it, just having fun. I haven't had much time to do any drawing or painting lately, but I found a couple minutes to squeeze this one in. I'm pretty happy with the anatomy seeing as how I didn't use any reference although I'm sure there are still tons of flaws. Anyway, enjoy this crap

looks cool. the only thing that might be a little off anatomy-wise (that I noticed) is the abs might be a bit small. head and arms look great.

cthomp - ha ha, doesn't it though. Every once in a blue moon the ole dbz hair comes out.

Brutillus, dadamafia - Ha ha, I hate to say it, but I agree as well. Abs is one thing I definitely never got right. I'll try and fix them on this, and hopefully learn how to do them right from now on thanx guys.

Time to start drawing a loooooooot more. Wish me luck.

    Mike

Nice, loose and meaty. I like the way it's painted.
I know it's a pain in the ass but maybe you should reference some photographs for anatomy, maybe some wrestlers for this type of work...they are big on "over the top" poses and expression.
If you marry some acurate anatomy with your painting style, things will jump to a higher level quickly.
Good stuff, looking forward to see more.

Thanx again crazybrush, it's good to get feedback from such a reliable source as well as some one I look up to. I worked on the abs as well as the hair and a few other subtle things. I think the hair makes a lot more sense now, ha ha as much as that kinda hair can make sense I guess.

Dark_Wraith and Rickert - I'm glad you like it for the reasons you like it. I swear that kinda stuff is buried so deep in my subconscious I don't even realize when I do it. Guys like Akuma and Daigo from Rival Schools definitely made an impression on me so this is definitely an homage, although I didn't realize it at first, ha ha.

Anyway, here's the revised version. If you still see anything wrong with it please let me know. Thanx.
