    This was hilarious.

Air Force: Squat to pee, flare to land... spasm to dance.

Man, I miss Whidbey. How's it going up there (are you with AIMD)?

wow, that is a page straight out of Carltons book from Fresh Prince.

The real hilarious thing, I think, is that nobody looks good dancing to that music. with the exception of breakdancers. But he'll take the heat every time...

I was in A-6's before they went away and in the squadron, I'd always heard "avionics shop". Only at AIMD did I hear someone say "avionics wing". I lived over in Mariner's Cove, overlooking the water, and loved it. Then the Navy moved me to Lemoore in Central California. It ain't French for "love". Cotton and cow poop: not a change for the better.

Paddy, he's definitely Air Force.. my pops is in the AF and his boss was actually the Dean of Students for the Academy so I think they'd both get a kick out of this video.
Dogfood, ah the good ol' A-6. From all the old A-6 guys that work on the EA-6B, I've heard that the intruder was a hell of allot easier to maintain than the prowler. The prowler is a P.O.S., unfortunately I'll be getting out as they start phasing in the EA-18's that are replacing the EA-6. I joined the Navy 3 years ago. I spent a year and a half unemployed after being laid off from Wizards of the Coast in December of 1999 and finally had enough of the Seattle job market so I changed my career goals to aviation. I'm now getting sucked back into the game industry by friends up here so I'm eagerly awaiting my EAOS next December. You should see the new housing up here in Whidbey, it's nice. When I was growing up base housing was crap, the Navy always had worse than all the other branches too. This new stuff rocks the sox off of AF housing now. Hard to believe, but true. I live up in Saratoga Heights next to the Sea Plane base. It's awesome for a free place. 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse with a 1 car garage for my wife and I. It's going to be rough finding a place like this down in Seattle for a reasonable amount of money.

I agree, the housing up there beats all the other Navy housing I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot, though I've always lived out in town). Living out on a penninsula on the Sound for free: beautiful. I'm glad to hear you're finding work while you're still in. The spectre of unemployment is a scary thing as that date creeps closer.

He looks only marginally less competent than a lot of professional dancers. Then again I think modern dance is a laughable affair, so I'm not one to judge.

Should you see me dancing, you'd probably shit yourselves laughing. Course, I never dance.
