    Cow Horrible people

I've been lurking around the forums for awhile and decided to post today because of this site i found. The link was in a friends instant messenger profile.

    http://www.saveourpets.net

I donated but also sent a letter to the owner. I dont want to see these animals die because of this jerk.

    Errrr... What?
Ever notice how everyone here seems to be, and I quote, "lurking on the threads and forums for a while now?"
Maybe that's just me but I see that all the time, haha!

They are "lurking" until they feel the need to spam an advertisement for something. These "save my animal sites" are becoming the new internet money maker for lazy asses.

Snopes says that most of these kind of things are a hoax. But why would you give them money? Its only going to encourage more people to do it.

if you're "lurking" around the site for so long and THIS is all that you can post, keep lurking, and stop posting.

Hey dog. . . . did you see the size of that chicken?!

yeah, don't forget those people such as "noobs" announcing their arrival on our site, really these people are getting really annoying to announce that they have joined the site...they make a thread announcing that they are new and don't even post a thing until while later. i posted somethig when i first came on this site, damn...

    Do you know the muffinman?

I have no problem with people announcing they are here. It's not my style, but good for them if it helps them feel comfortable before they dive in and post art.

I'm not saying that this guys purpose was to advertise this site, but when his first post is this, it feels like spam, especially in light of all the recent 1 and 2 post spammers that seem to pop up on internet forums more commonly now advertising some sort of site or product.

If he is legitimately not a spammer, then I feel bad that he chose this for a first post. Usually save the art for the beginning if you don't want to give people the wrong impression. That's my take.
