I love the "House in the Desert" image, it would be great to see it from another perspective but thats just me being greedy
Regarding your most recent post of the "mech" I think the bright light on the right hand side is pulling too much focus. Adding multiple light sources is fine as long as they are used to guide the viewers eye and not distract form the primary focal point of the image. The lights should also affect their surroundings such as the lights on the arms of the mech which could cast circular patches of light on the floor.
Also you should try adding a little more atmosperic perspective to push the background element further back as the middle/background are blending together too much. Also parts of the mech (the two thrusters above it's head) need to be emphasised and seperated from the background. Finally I think the mech could be a little larger (or the image cropped) and more dominant in the image as its the main focus and would help give it more power and presence.
I hope these comments help. It's a very cool image that I think could look awesome if taken to the next level.

Mothman : Tanks for your extensive comment, I fixed some points. I thought I did enough atmospheric, but seems not. I pushed it more.
A little sketch for fun
And a wip: It's tough like a game environment (platform)

Hey Zou, great progress as always. Really like what you have done with this last portrait sketch. Limited colour palette works really well and I like the texture you have created in the background. The only little crit i have is there seems to be some symmetry difference between the eyes, but a great sketch for fun. You are rocking!

Marian Rowling : Hey Marian, really glad of your visits. Yes I agree about assymetry but wanted to do lesser strokes and corrections for this sketch.

Mothman : thanks for your visit I appreciate
NickyBeats : Hey Nicky , coming from you, it's a big accomplishment for me
Two sketches done by a Surface Pro 1, it's fun to draw with it after years of Wacom tablets (though digitizer is a Wacom)
I just got it because it was a used cheap occasion, and of course the owner wasn't drawing with it.
I also discovered some toher great tools for tablets
RadialMenu by Clint Huegel (like the wacom one) with integrated toolbar
Toolbars: so many, that can be used even on desktop

I was almost sure the last painted portrait of that girl was traditional oil paint haha, I really had to look three times before I understood it was digital. Great job!
The mech looks aaawesome, I'm really impressed!
Always nice to see you workin'! Keep it up Z!

Hey zou! abandoned CA for a couple months. Great to see you are still going strong. I really like the mech piece. i think what could help is making a more focused focal point by leaving ur lightest lights in a single area. if u made the area behind the mech darker u could silhoutte it more and make the piece clearer. just an idea! cool paintings
