Those Dihya images are looking so pro man, keep them coming! Gorgeous! Are those thumbnails you did from imagination? they look rad, especially the one in the upper most right corner.

I am really like this character illustrations. Are they for a project?
One comment would be to keep your small color studies to simpler blocks of colors and use harder edges. That way you really need to nail down the color for it to work.

Saraiva: thanks Yes it's a personal project, but still in early stage (just exploring)
the last small thumbs are not exactly studies. more of exercice following nathan fowkes for creating enviros. You're right about the hard edges.

Mothman: Thanks buddy, well appreciated.
I just tried Kyle's Watercolor brushes
psssshhhhh, INCREDIBLES !
this is all digital ! Imho, it's even better than Corel Painter (faster and more convenient coz of photoshop capabilities)

I like that last illustration of the girl climbing the rock. I think that you might need to find a way to separate her more from the BG because her shirts value and color intensity are similar to whats behind her.
This is not your subject matter, but check out how Frazetta makes his figures pop out of the environment.

Love the Ghibli studies! You've gotten a lot better with environments. Especially the first in post #1371 is strong. The sharp blue shapes really help with the composition. I think you really put the contrast in the right places there.
Nice to see you do a mecha piece as well. Nice shapes on that mech. I noticed you used some textures in there as well, sort of like a film grain. Pretty effective. My critique would be that its hard to see how big the robot is. I thought it was really big at first. But the railings in the front right side make it seem like he's actually pretty small.
Nice work! I'll check back more regularly
