The portrait was HB, the rest were done in 2B and then leveled to make the lighter pencil lines more visible here...come to think of it, I only really use those two or a 0.5 Technical Pencil.

courtyard: thank you guy
kingkostas:when scanned and leveled i add new blurred layer and multiply fusion
dizon: thank you mate
Angel Intheuk: thank for the infos, it can replace ink this kind of leveling
another scribbling, i'm still on that 3D work and got another little work .
#137; Very very good study. Nice posemaniac poses. Seem to be done in pen, without any construction lines? Great job.
#142; Nice hands. First wrist looks thin. Very nice, cohesive shading. I like the man with the mask (2nd scan) a lot. Reminds me of Nausicäa, valley of the wind. Great portraits in general. Doodles and sketches like these are always fun to look at, and inspirational too.
#144; Those seem to be from live reference. Some very strong linework, especially on those legs, even when foreshortened.
#153; Very subtle portraits. The airships seem to be hard on you. Perhaps you should try and sketch the 'blueprints' out first. Like some simple side and top views. Like the designs though, left one looks promising.
Impressed by those sketches and your linework. Keep it going!
i like girls on your last post keep your jobs
long time no posts (but drawing)
i hate giving excuses so you can post as much 'shame on you' as you want
i m posting my first attempt to doing 7 panels comics. It gaves the opportunity to deal with the differents apects of comic making in work condition (i didn't have all daytime to make it)
it's an original short story. It has so many errors and things to correct. but it's fresh (actually in french, i'll post a translated version later)
Interesting comic book keep up improving your anatomy so that you can depict the characters better. They are good but you can improve them
I also like the studies !!!
Keep up mate!!!
Some lovely stuff, zou. The comic is awesome, too! It's great to see you do that. My only crit would be is to use contrast so the panels are easily read and understood. Similar to Mike Mignola's style where he uses light and dark shapes so you could easily figure out what you're looking at.
#161; Wonderful comic. Tough to crit. I'll just say I think a few of those big frames really work. The small frames seem great for storytelling, but some of the big frames really define the mood. Just an observation, I'm clueless when it comes to comics . Must be tough, great job! My French is limited, still understandable though.
#162; Nice concept. I couldn't quite find him in the story though, who is he? May have missed him. You seem to have a very clear idea of the concept. Nice lifedrawings there.. you seem to handle the clothes and folding in general pretty well. Also think the plane is looking a lot better than your previous ones in terms of perspective.
Keep at it! gogo
kingkostas : yes, sir !
Dizon : i will try (
Anthis : thanks
here two more funny cars. one real and one from mind
the first is from tesla motors : electric car
and a funny car (graphite then photoshoped using a tutorial)
critics always welcome
Hey Zou, Thanks for commenting on my sb. You got a nice one going on here, its was fun to see you improve lots through the sb.
Keep it up!
All critics/comments are much appriciated
Merci pour tes beaux mots dans mon sketchbook! Your lines have a very appealing fullness to them, like they are on the verge of bursting with the solidity contained therein, especially in that sketch of the car and that single portrait of the girl in #162. Your comic is very nice, and I second Dizon's suggestion regarding contrast. Keep up the good work!
wow a lot of nice updates here The comic looks great, id use some more radical "camera angles" if i was you, escpecially where the guy is hanging from the cliff, it would serve the purpose better!
thanks alot, its ben ages since i logged in and posted something,u got some cool stuff ur self keep it up
no unfortunatlly i dont know Ben meftah, can u show me his work, does he have a blog or something?
willmunny: merci camarade.Yes you're right about contrast
dwardo: thanks for pointing it
NoodleDoodle: thank. First i thought it's not really 'action' comic but maybe i'm wrong
Moftah: Ta7iyati min tounes. Unfortunately, i don't have any of his work. Maybe you could ask for him (ranked first in arabic world in engraving)
Dizon: thanks mate
So, during this period of abscence , I joined a team involved in a
3D movie. They began early this year and established principals characters. They called me for additional character, architecture and props.
For me it's more professional experience (working with team, schedule, stick to a style, making contacts and friends from the field ...)
here is some of the thing i drew (they gave paper and pencil and really tight time to work and they dopn't request any rendering, just lines)
Nice, congratulation on working on these.Working in the field is the greatest experience(paid or non-paid its still great experience)
Keep up !!!
For this style everything seems ok.Only problem seems to be in the womans hand in the SIDE view.Maybe not, if thats how it must seem to the model.
keep it up
