I want to live in post #1147!!! It's so beautiful and filled with mood and it's just.. pure goodnesssss... I've got one crit though, it feels as if the boat is slightly flying above the water, maybe add a clearer waterline on it or something to increase the feeling of it being half under water. Other than that, omg I love it so much

For your still life I would recommend using a brush with higher opacity or higher flow or less spacing% of the actual brush. It seems like your brushstrokes are streaky and doesn't really look like the surfaces in the photograph. Also I think some of the surfaces are less reflective than they should be.
Did you learn alot with the piece? I kind of did, a general set up of what works and what doesn't within 3 hours. Values are still really tricky for myself to see though.
Oh I have a comment about your other works. I am actually going to recommend you study gestures a bit more. Now don't get me wrong, your ability to place emotion in your characters is really strong. BUT Your facial emotions are on a different scale than the bodies of the characters. Example being #1150 barbous ( is that how you spell his name?? ) you could raise his leg a bit more and lift him higher off the ground. Oh also I feel like you should study action movements because with your pieces, the event isn't shown at the ideal/peak moment being told. For example post #1147 the characters are actually really well animated, but the fish isn't... it feels like the way the characters are reacting the fish should already be out of the water flailing. I mean all the other fish are still there!! In a real situation they would all be fleeing the scene. Now, if for example all the fish were left as is, it would make more sense for the characters to be sitting in the boat with bored expressions not realizing a huge fish is right near their boat at the line.
Just try to think about what different ways a scene would best be portrayed because I think this could be improved a bit. Heck I am so horrible at the very thing I'm advising ( all my characters are stiff, boring etc ) but yeeeeaaaahhh . Just something I noticed. Maybe try and study master animators since theyre able to catch the essence of a character and motion so wonderfully.

Your comment make sense. For the fish thing, yeah i know should be more ' violent' scene but it was supposed to attract people to see our beaches here, i thought it would be a nice calm scene even if not very logic . Hey comics are not logic !
