Wow! I can't believe i last commented in April! Sorry about that.

I'll start by saying your comics are coming along so much in the last couple of pages, you handle action really well, though there is an inconsistency sometimes for example one panel will have lots of movement lines and the next one won't have any. Though this was more in the earlier comics you did, the later ones you have got more of a handle on the flow. I understand it's difficult with some scenes to find a balance and a flow of energy around the page with suitable places for the eye to rest, maybe have more splash pages or environments to set the scenes more before moving to the next bit of action? Have you read Transient Man by Coro Kaufman? I think I remember you saying you had but your style of storytelling kind of reminds me of him, he has a great sense of action (not to mention value and lighting and characters)

Your characters are great btw, you are getting much better at depcting one character over and over (something I find so difficult) Great use of perspective as well and making each panel look dynamic and interesting. The shading you're doing is getting better with each one too, I always get carried away with it and can ruin a good panel if I don't pay attention lol, I did read about a rule of shading that suggests having 50/50 black (or grey) and white in each panel so it balances out, I haven't tried it out myself yet but it might be useful

Anyway great business card too! Good luck with the freelance work and your caricatures are coming along very nicely especially the re-jig you did in post #923, don't be afraid to push those features, but don't forget that for each feature you exaggerate you must reduce another. i.e if you make someones nose huge and long then you must make the eyes tiny and bring them closer together to really emphasise the nose and eyes, otherwise like someone pointed out you're in danger of exaggerating everything and then you end up with a portrait with only a slightly bigger nose. I do it all the time it's so easy to forget. Your Angelina looks instantly recognisable btw! I love how you did her lips and eyes I would personally make her jaw line thinner and her chin smaller but that's just my opinion.

I'll stop writing this wall of text now and just say keep up the great work! and good luck finding jobs. I can't wait to get cracking on a comic with you which I'm starting as soon as I finish a Christmas present for my brother (I'm doing him as a Warhammer character )

    p.s Really funny expressions sheet!!

I like the comics more than the caricatures to be honest

I always have a great amount of respect for anyone who does caricature drawings well, and you my friend have done just that! I'm not sure of your intent, but some of the horse sketches seem a bit stylized, still great nonetheless; the gestural quality of the earlier ones is really nice. The last one, though, the torso seems a bit disproportionate to the legs and head for a full grown horse, at least to my eye. Although I'm not necessarily a horse expert... Good luck though!

Lovely linework! These comix pages are really nice, though sometime I feel certain disproportion in character designs, and they don't look fluent and balanced enough (especially the guy with hand, it's just not balanced). Look at classic comix character designs, and you'll see how well balanced their silhouettes.

The artgerm style painting is beautiful, I really like the combination between "nice clean linework" and "semirealistic coloring"!

The watercolor sketches are nice, a bit low on contrast though - makes them a bit hard to read.
For a first try outside it's great though! The plant on the left in the last watercolor painting is lovely, very clean edges and and fresh looking color, I like that.

i made several propositions to draw a mini submarine, it's used by the special unit of coast guards to fight well equiped criminals and pirates.
    it's for the same comic

Lovin the coast guard hmm, I would probably choose either number 1 or 4 or 5 for the submarines, they seem the most aerodynamic (or is it aquadynamic )

Zou, that horse is really badass. Strong movement, looks real powerful too. Bit jealous ;/.

Seems you're actually starting to like caricatures huh? Still, I do like your comic panels and character designs most. Especially in the 'hero' portraits you've got some really good variation going. Though I have to say I like some of the secondary characters as well. I think many of your characters have pretty sharp features. As in, piercing eyes and angular, cheeky mouths. I don't think its necessarily a bad thing, perhaps it goes with the type of work or style? But for example, I think the plump guy(#7) with the big moustache and the round, beady eyes makes for a good character. He has a different type of shapes in his design. It adds some contrast and really sets him apart from the rest. I noticed him immediately. I hope you get what I mean!

Nice 1-man sub! make sure he has space for legs!

Also- love the watercolours. I don't know how you manage that at all, haha. Tricky medium..
