One thing I'm noticing in your work, specifically on the previous page, is that you make a mistake in the anatomy and then it's repeated in all of the subsequent studies on the same paper. To get around this, once you know you've made a mistake (or even if you haven't, go and check that reference), first understand why you made the mistake, and figure out a way to correct it, and then promise yourself to never repeat that same mistake again. I found this way of working to be helping me a lot at the moment.
Naidy: thanks for passing by and good luck in your studies Kungfoowiz: thanks for the piece of advice.for the mistakes,i didn't reviewed it but i will do more anatomy studies to check those ones. kingkostas: wow such enthousiasm makes me feel more mativated, thanks a lot mate. olivepalm: thanks for passing by
i went to the museum to check some of what i learned. i've drawn muscles over statues.
Oh jeez, you've studied the figure thoroughly it puts me to shame. I looked at a page or two from a textbook but I have the hardest time trying to reproduce it out of imagination like you do. I have a thing or two to learn from you! Great figure sketches!
It's amazing how much you've improved from your first sketch until now. At the beginning, it was easy to see that you were relying a lot on outlines to get the point across of what you were illustrating, but now you're incorporating value along with line to construct a solid figure. Your studies and your progress are inspriational to a sketchbook newbie like myself. Keep up the good work.
Hey, love all those beautiful anatomical studies in here. Look's like you're really developing a good understanding of the human figure.
I think you might try playing around with some more gestural studies of the full body. Many of your studies of arms, legs, etc have a really nice energy to them but your full body poses look a little static in comparison.
redpandafire:yeah SHAME on you ! no joking mate, i really need to do a lot more to pretend knowing a bit about anatomy
olivepalm: thanks for passing by !
Telefunker: thanks a lot, and good luck
Jesus Food: hi mate, nice to see you here ! haha, i would say the same thing when seeing your work
Auspiciouspanda:thanks for pointing the static look. I feel like it's because i don't know much about figure so i'm trying to get comfortable with it to get easy loose lines. hope i'll get it !
