Fighting with Painter 6 for more details and less shiny looking work, still tweaking things I see them.

The colours are fantastic, concept is interesting too. I'm a little confused by the far left side and what's happening to the dragon's arm, but it's nothing that stands out too much.

Nice concept, nice craftsmanship, but the colors seem muddy. Add more hightlights and highlight details to make it more vibrant (vibrance =! shine)

i like it ( then i like dragons so that should be notbe a surprise) anyway i like the way it has a dream like qualtiy to it, perhaps this is what you were going for. i agree that the dragons arm in the foreground is confusing a bit and takes a while to figure out when compared to the one that is gesturing. nice level on interaction by the way

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

I'm still playing with the dragon's right foot, that was bothering me a bit too still.

As for adding more highlights, that's exactly what I was trying to avoid in this picture. I wanted to go for muted, with out having to fall back on ultra highlights to push a picture. No shiny, shiny sucks.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the girl's eyes?

It's great. I think the only thing I'd change is the girl's super tiny hand. I know it's distant, but it's not THAT distant! It should be a little larger.

magicgoo stated my only crit of this piece. perspective seemed odd on the arm. yknow i love the surreal and imaginative feel to this pic. it's got a wonderful oil painting feel to it with great use of muted colours.
