    2nd World Wide SketchCrawl - Sunday March 6th !

We have a date for the 2nd World Wide SketchCrawl ! Sunday March 6th !
Please join us and the rest of the world in a drawing marathon day !
Not enough time ? Well, draw a couple of hours ... and get the nice tingly feel
of knowing you are at that moment part of a community of doodling artists from all over the world!

If you are in the bay area Ronnie del Carmen and I are gonna meet with artists and "crawl" around San Francisco up here ... (meeting place is in Union Square at 10 am, more details to follow)
Tell your friends, your cute cousin, your second grade teacher and even your mom!
    Help us spread the word!!

And when the day is over share your doodles with us at the sketchcrawl forums!
    http://www.sketchcrawl.com/forum/

    Many thanks !

    Enrico

Well jesus, if steak-tron and wes9000 are going to be there how could I not show up? Seriously guys, your sketchbooks rock. Going through the various forums it's hard not to get the impression that all of us in San Francisco are lucky to have a ridiculous glut of kick-ass concept artists in close proximity.

Anyways, sounds like a blast. w-o-r-d.

Excellent guys ! Hope to see you there !
As of now the meeting point for the San Francisco Crawl is at 10am at the Starbucks at the corner of Stockton and Sutter, one small block from Union Square and right in front of the big parking garage and the tunnel.
Sorry for not finding a less corporate cafe' ... but hey a grande latte once a year won't kill us ...

ok then ... hope to see some of you there ... we might have a nice big group that day ... the general plan is to visit different neighborhoods of the city and then gather somewhere in the evening to share the sketching bounty ...

And for all the sketchcrawlers around the world, please let us know where you'll be crawling ... artists from Denmark, England, Singapore and Bulgaria are already getting ready to join in the world wide crawl ... look forward to see sketches from the other side of the world!

    E

It was cool getting out and sketching with all of you, we should try to do it again sometime Especially now that the weather's more likely to be awesome

Sho' nuff. I wouldn't mind doing something along these lines again at some point. It was cool to relate some faces to people I've seen lurking around the boards. It put my mind at ease to see that my theory about everyone I see online secretly being an evil robot is patently ridiculous...unless, of course, you are all just a very advanced breed of robot-people...but perhaps I've said too much...

I'll try and post a sketch or two from the crawl some time soon, although I am horribly, horribly ashamed at thier general wackness. Ah well, 'twas a good reminder of how important it is to draw from life on a regular basis. Methinks I'll have to get my lazy ass out of the house and observe more often.

So when are we going to get to see those pics taken at Super 7?
