sKeTcHbOoK update page3 (scroll to the bottom of page)
ahhhhh...you're already so good! Isn't there anyone on this forum worse than me? Heh...Well I'll try not to be negative....
The top picture, I guess done without reference, shows you are already pretty good with basic human anatomy and rendering. So good job. And the Bridgman copies are very clean. Looks like you will improve as hard as you work at it. Looking forward to seeing more...

thanks guys. i'll scan in some more recent ones. looking back, my oldies are kinda junk.
Foot and hand studies look nice...maybe some values added next?
You're really beginning to establish a good sense of volume and form with that horned skull, the direction of the lines begin to really describe the shape of the object, don't forget that when you are shading everything else.
Also like the chobits reference!
thanks keepiru. i really think my skill in shading has improved over the last year, and it makes me feel good to hear a comment like that.
new page. I think it's skewed to one side, like my scanner distorted it or something. but anyway, that's a self portrait attempt in the middle. and the rest is just sketches from the mind and simplifying various chicks in my hot girls folder.
ball point sketch here. I messed up here and there, but I tried to cover it up as best as I could.
ok... here's today's sketch. i like to draw with my "inspirational images" folder open. i can browse through it and see cool stuff.
not the best of sketchpages, but oh well.
thanks for looking.
ok here's a quick speedpaint I did. finally figured out how to set opacity controls to pressure sensitivity in ps.
