Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
I've been putting this off for a while, so now I shall put my less-than-perfect sketches on CA. So, here we go...
Don't ask me about the bride
A study of a portrait of Bob Hope by Norman Rockwell. Not particularly happy with it.. I think I'm going to give it another go and see if I can do it better.
Tattoo design for a friend of mine.
Random OCing with Inpho.
This was going to be my thunderdome submission in San Fransisco. Then all the polycounters wanted to go see the Zbrush demo (hey, it was catered!), so I missed it. Ah well.. next year hopefully.
Just a portrait..no reference.
Life drawing. Turned out as a pretty good likeness.
More to come!

Less than perfect doesn't mean they arent' beeeeeautiful! I haven't seen the Rockwell version of that Hope portrait, so I dunno if it was already exagerrated...but given the strenght of the rest of your stuff, I'll assume it is and not comment on it.
Everything else is just wicked!
"Every generation sees the past though the lens of its own time." - Thom Hartmann
Sorry we dragged you off to the ZBrush thing... I thought it was pretty interesting though... and hey, it had dinosaur!
What's with the bride?
Loving the pencil works up there, would like to see some of those more in detail, with maybe a bit more contrast in them... Really dig the tattoo design and the thunderdome bit as well as the greyscale portrait there!
How about some color now?
You have a great soft rendering, very clean!
There is not really something to critizise... perhabs get a bit darker with your pencil...although it is not really necessary here!
Fukifino: It was a little exaggerated, though I messed up a lot on the nose and forehead. Rockwell was a genius, so it worked better when he did it. Thanks though!
MoP: Seeing Bay Raitt's stuff was worth it! I'm glad I went.. just sucks that we had to choose one or the other.
Hyver: Colour? Lemmie see what I can dig up...
Xaya: Yeah, I do have the tendency to go a little light on my pencils. If these were full renderings I'd be more careful, but as sketchbook stuff goes, I'm not too worried.
And now, some more...
A colour study for a painting I'm planning on getting done. I think it needs a bit more punch, so I'll do some more work on it.
Just a drawing for a sculpture I was going to do until I realised it wouldn't fit in my oven with the dimensions I wanted. It's currently in the process of being modelled in Maya.
Something I did a while back for that alternate Spiderman character thread. Almost everybody did venom. Carnage was always my favourite, but meh.
Evil fish. The top one reminds me of a coelocanth.
I forget why I drew this, but it came out fairly wel.
Hey, I hadn't seen that Carnage one before! Cool stuff... although I think his right leg should have been in a different position, his pose looks a little weird to me there.
Love the fish! Do they have... underwater weapons? Don't you go too near the trout!
Here are some new things.
Some character portraits from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I figured I'd better do some before the movie taints my perception forever.
Sketch for a hokey painting.
Doing some 3D modelling.. just some ideas for a costume for one I'm working on.
And lastly, a self portrait.
Love those character drawings. The way you did Arthur Dent is pretty much exactly how I envisioned him, bonus points for you!
Ford Prefect is very cool too, great sense of depth and character. Personally I prefer fluffier towels though! His right hand looks really odd to me... like it's got no bones or something... then again, he is an alien, so I'll let you off! 8)
Pegasus + kid wearing blanket = hokey, maybe, but even hokey can work out if done right
I'm not sure about the wing position, because it looks like the horse is raising the right wing really high, while the left wing is in mid-flap... then again, what do I know about avian wing motion?
Good start on the costume design, I like the hairstyle but I think you could go for something even more extravagant in the clothing department... It just doesn't seem that "original" at the moment... try messing around with some more designs, look up some nice period costume reference and try to adapt it to some futuristic/fantasy setting (as you appear to be going for with the hair/headpiece dealie). It's not a bad costume design so far, but it's not really telling me anything about her character. Go nuts!
And hey, it's you! I can't crit that... you know what I think
Get thee to a hairdresser!
A nice update here. We approve!
You obviously know what you're doing. Very nice pencilrenderings. The balance between the more harsh strokes and softer ones are very well done.
Tully!! Dang im still stuck on the tatoo its awesome. Great to see some recent stuff from you, its all looking really good. Im very glad I was able to meet you down in San Fran, fun stuff. You got my msn when ever you're down for some more OC
Simply amazing work. You better hurry and get your 3d skills to this level. GO GO GO.
The woman in the dress with one shoe, the rose and a sword is easily my favorate. Wonderful shading and such nice facial features. Leave it to a woman to get such a natural beauty out of the female form without overdoing it.
Nice work, and cool website too...
I really like the SF Thunderdome entry, cool design, damn creepy too.
I didnt meet you in SF, but your self portrait is perfect. Oh, the Hitch Hiker chars are cool too, love the sideburns on Ford Prefect....fingers crossed for the film eh?
The desert infantry is one of my favorites but his feet like off.
If i shoot the J then its "Good"
please hit up the SKETCHBOOK
Just a bit of an update. Maybe a tad overdue!
Badger: Thanks I draw every day, I promise! I just usually do it in my sketchbook and scanning/uploading can be annoying. I'm not lazy with the drawing.. just went it comes to posting them.
Molly: Thanks a bunch! Well groomed sideburns can look excellent on most guys.. Ford seems like a guy who might put in the effort.

Hey Tully. We have kinda similar names , lol. Anyways, great SB, looks like you have a really sound knowledge of anatomy and faces. The concept work really stands out, will keep watching^^.
Oh, I'm horrible with updates. I do work all the time, but does it ever seem to occur to me to stick it up here?
But an actual update! Colour stuff too. Yay.
Inspired by an Ingres painting and an odd thing I had to do for school.
Because dragons are fun. Ignore the crappy drawing on the guy.
Bat-ish long arm thingy.
Was bored one night.
Something I'm putting together for the CGChat/Polycount competition. Unfortunately it may not get too much more finished than this Too much schoolwork.
Fun with vampires.
Baki: Appreciate it! The tattoo thing wasn't my idea, but turned out pretty decently.
Rickert: I thought it was more of a big-cat turtle, but I can see the canary influence as well!
Tullie: Yeah, I noticed! Just don't change your avatar to a vulture, and nobody will get confused
Looking fucking great man! I wish you posted your stuff more.
Beautiful sketchbook! Loads of variety and imagination!
