    Nice...

I'd like to see the figure be a bit more developed, but it is pretty far away. If you could post a larger pic it would be easier to crit. It's hard to tell what is happening with the beam. Is it emmiting from that structure or is the structure being hit by it? If it's being hit some debris flying through the air would help...

Overall though it has a nice feel to it.

So, you're from Courtenay eh? I grew up there... is George's Food Bar still serving those crazy deluxe burgers? I love that place!!

Tekno's version does add more contrast and define the visuel space better. The lights and colours add more drama to the piece which was a bit mono chrome. In saying that the first version gives a good idea of the values before
    going into colour detail.

I love the reflection of that beam thing in the water. Very nice. I think the figure's legs are a little questionable though - the way her (his?) weight sits, it looks like she'd fall off the pointy thing backwards. I think all you need is a little of the lower legs showing to give some idea of whether he/she is standing or crouching. Love those hanging cords too.

really cool piece, the coloured version looks great but just from a visual taste I prefer the monochrome look,it has a bleak feel that I just has a better mood

thaks for all the great input. i like the over paint , but it looses a bit of the mood i was trying to establish. very cool though. i especially like the foreground object that were put in.

my next peice will be a little closer to real color theory...
