    Nice work Heri!

Fresh line work, and I especially like the fact that your quick sketches have hands and feet!

I would love to see more, you've got a good thing going here. Draw, draw, draw!

Welcome to CA my friend. Pretty amazing how "compelling" this forum is, isn't it? Makes you want to stop posting and draw like a mofo! I'm glad to see you have worked so hard on figure sketches. Keep them coming as best you can, as anatomy is a large mountain to climb.
The only thing I can say is that your figure studies are slightly... err... stumpy. The hips flare out while the rest of the body stays slim. This may be a stylistic choice, however. Let me know.

He who asks is a fool for five minutes,
but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

    Starting over.

    oomgawa... thanks.

klinesmoker... I do tend to exagerate the hips, I like drawing caricatures, so i'm use to exagerating, pulling and pushing. big nose, small nose, small feet, my feet. ha. i don't distort, i exagerate..or at least I try to.

here are more from tonight's class.

the gesture drawings are incredibly expressive. great flow. you have excellent control of your line, heri.

i recognize the 'its okay to draw in class' drawings... from MY class! i know its okay to draw in class, but you should be drawing in flash. about twelve drawings per second. hehe

anyway, keep posting. i'd like to see some characters, or environments... mix it up.

I had a hard time drawing in class tonight.
I felt like everyline I made was in the wrong place.

I'll post everything that I in class, if it's good, bad or ugly!

I'm posting like you guys, to improve, and hopefully see a progress being made. Also for advice.

Thanks...purb36 and Petey for your comments.
Hey i just went to your website, Petey....wow! who needs XM techno radio when you got daspetey.com

I find that your figures move effortlessly across the page...something very hard to capture. Nice work man.

The figure is one tough cookie to draw!

You have some really amazing stuff here! I didn't see one piece that I didn't like. As for cartoony, is not a bad thing. If it's done well, I actually prefer it.

I hope to learn a lot from you. That means you have to keep posting!
