Hey, nice works in here... My small crit on the giant vs hooded guy image: the giant's back leg is looking wonky. Perhaps it's because of the tangency with the front leg, or maybe because it looks like it's advancing towards the viewer (it should have some foreshortening).
    Cheers!

I think the leg looks fine as the giant seems to be turning in mid-stride. His back leg is straight along the path he was on, but his front leg is pivoted as his hips turn towards his new target. That's one of the reasons I really like this piece... it's as if the giant almost walked by this little warrior, who appears to be waiting for him. I feel like most times artists create the situation the other way around, with the warrior being surprised by the beast.

Of course, this piece has gone thru so many changes, who knows what the situation will wind up being?

    love it dude.
Great and cool composition in the WIP.
oh, and the enviro is friggin awesome, looks beautiful.
In the WIP i guess I would stuff it up with something els too, maybe another character in background, or possibly some roots, vissible soil or anything like that in the foreground. Think it would make it more interesting.
But then again, 'tis only my oppinion.
    Keep it going!

Ooh! Nice paintings, real good on the stroke economy. Great color and texture and I like how you're testing ideas.

I prefer the version before this one, the darks are going too dark for my taste, especially with the white environment bouncing light around.

No update in almost a month! BOOOO!

Loving the rendering style, sense of lighting and sort of dominate muted hue color palette.
Your monsters also have a nice consitancy to them.

Only crit for today: More damnit!

Some great work. The cleanliness doesn't detract from the expression in your painting. Keep producing.

good stuff! I like your painting style. I noticed that sometimes you might place the eyes a bit too high. Maybe that is what you are going for to give the character a certain look, but its kinda standard they should be placed at the center of the head.
