    Phantom´s filth

    Hey everyone.
Been lurking and sniffing around this place for a while now and I must tell I´m completely blown away...
great talents and coming future names all around!
Shees. I hope I´m not going to give enyone a brain damage by posting here.

Oh well, it´s a bit lame start to post just a one page, but that´s what I manage to do today. Yay me!
I should try to make this daily: can´t be healthy...but healty is always bad, right? ^_^
    Ok, see you tomorrow.

Hey, great start!! looks like you've got the potential to become a future name! great line quality!! I especially like your portrait studies - keep those coming!
Here some sites I figured are worth every minute you spend on them:

Solid start here, if I do say so myself! I was particularly impressed with the mouth on the top of your second post there. Indescribable sensuality. Good work!

    Starting over.

    klinesmoker:
Thanks man. *gives you a cookie* I bought that new colored paper few days ago and some new pencils- I´m totally in love, but I´m feeling more noob as usual

    Imageproof:
Thanks a lot. But potential to become a future name? me? Nah, maybe just a corner art rat digging trash ^^ I try to post every day, hard as hell if I´m honest- By the way those links are great, grazie. I´m interested at trying out that ink wash and gouache paint technique...but I have no idea how to use them. I´ll have to prepare myself and cover the whole house in newspaper- going to be a messy little project!

Okey, it´s thursday- finally some own, quiet time with my non-drawed papers! Yay. Thought to give a shot to anatomy...I should draw more from life.

Little thing I did today, there´s a few odd lines and broken bones, but phew I need to do more- I don´t like it, I don´t hate it...it´s a sketch.
    posting more later on:

    See you soon,

    It´s good to be back!

I have not sleep for 48 hours, so looking like shit and feeling quite the same X.x
Oh yeah...cruising is so much fun.
Um, my brains hurts. It´s like 3am.

Yup. Not much, but feel free to tear everything apart.

I´m trying to make a few hand studies per day, looking funky...

    Good night.

Been quite a long time without posting. Sorry.
Second attempt to keep this daily, now when my summer vacation started (Gah, finally) and I have no other works to be done...I smell freedom!

Here´s what I did today. My scanner died so I had to draw with Painter. I Did a lot of small works- nothing special, just to get my hand used to drawing again. I´m really confused of what I should be doing or practising..oh well, better to do something than nothing. Ideas where should I focus more?

    hey phantom,

some good stuff here, I really like your painter sketches, especially the fourth from your last post, the girl. The animal study looks very good too. Good solid lines.

    hope to see more!

Bumskee: Thanks heh, hope to do more.

    I celebrated my 18th b-day yesterday-
it´s been quiet and calm day, been a bit weak and not so creative XD

Hopefully this image is not too big...with anatomy problems *dies*

    Ready to color.

Your first piece in your last post here is my favorite, it's very powerful. The white lines on the dark background look stunning.

You're right, the arms need work, but I still really like it.

Agreed!, your last post has some interesting images, good work. The monkey looks very stylish. Oh and happy birthday, and you are only 18.. In few years time you will be a great artist I think if you keep this up. Look forward to seeing more.

    Thank you ^_^

Studied bugs, I were trying to sit still and draw insects but it was horrible-
why do all those little beasts just have to fly or walk on me?!! *shivers*
Then I still don´t know what´s wrong with my scanner...

This one is missing few legs and stuff, lazy me, I´ll fix that tomorrow:

    Cheers,
    ~Phantom

    young paddy1: I´m glad you like ^^
bumskee: Thanks again. Bugs never occured to me eather, but I guess it´s better to practise all kind of things...today I were drawing kamikaze bees flying around, I didn´t study those tho. And yes, I´m using Painter 3D on these as long as I get my scanner working- Oh the bee is the final from reference
    cretin: Thanks a lot
    aesir: Thanks, I´ll try.
Icey: XD I appreciate that, thanks. I try post as much as I can *cough* or when I have something.

The bears are cool! nicely done. the fur looks pretty good too. I am sure you could have done better though I love the girl on the last one maybe because she's missing her eyes wondering what she would look if she had them.

your painting skills are awsome progessing nicely. definitely need to see more.

    cheers,

    Oh no, she´s posting again...

I´ve been more dead than alive these past few months- bunch of school stuff, like Finals and other small things No time for drawing or painting..as if

    Fresh start. Todays noodle:

This took hours. Actually I tried two different techniques; more shady one and a cartoony style. Messed too much with small details, I have to try speedpaint some day, not used to it.

    So tired. Öitä! G´night.

You have som very good stuff in here. I like the guy with the tatoo and weird cyber arm - except I dont like the cyber arm. And I was really impressed by the bugs! Very lifelike and 3d. Then I also liked the little scene with the weird tree and the little bird. The linework is great.
