    first try at sculpting

i had to use the materials i had at home, and those were non other than plasticine,a knife and a toothpic.i think it came out fairly good, considering the nonexistence of a wireframe and the disability to bake it,or having proper tools/reference.

(that's my sister's hand which is slightly smaller than mine)

    (the tools used)

tell me what you think about it.

    Sketchbook

    Sketchbooks of inspiration:
    Marc Taro|Maxetormer|ZhuZhu|Jeri|Dobu]

    Always think about:
    lighting! design! perspective! proportion!
    And (self)motivation is still everything.

I think you should go back to the drawing board.

To tell you the truth man it's not very good. It kind of looks like an alien, but not really. This shouldn’t get your hopes down, you just need to keep practicing. If you don't have the tools, even though a knife and toothpick are sufficient, you should do a pinch piece. Keep trying man, eventually you’ll get good.
