Here's a few ideas I was kicking around in my head.

Gem/Crystalline/Gold Creature- something composed of precious materials

Heaven Bringers- race of creatures who travel from world to world cleansing evil and transforming everything into an pure/perfected version of itself

Building Block Creature- organisms whose body shapes form a structure when connected, think of something along the lines of living Lego blocks

Leaf Riders- creatures which use tree leaves as transportation

    Ill post more later.

Why don't we just do an intelligent species of alien or something, but you know since we can't have our creatures being too human like, I think it will be a pretty good challenge. Unless I'm dumb as hell.

I wasn't aware that our creature designs couldn't represent an intelligent species. The only 'rule' that restricts that at all seems to be meant to reign in 'character design'.
Personally I assumed it was the participants personal preferences that kept COW designs on the 'beastly' side of the track.

Well the thing with an intelligent species is that it would have to have some sort of manipulative organ that could build, make tools, etc.
