Some of my artwork (big download) MORE STUFF AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE TWO!!

Hey people of conceptart. This is my first time ever posting work on this forum. A few people have been prepping me up to do it, and I've always wanted to do so. Thought it would be fun.

    Chick with the crazy smile.....

This is an illustration of a familiar character....

Concepts done for a videogame company.....

    Another familiar character....

    I like these faces most.
I was wandering how this guy (from the first pic) can walk? I think it's imposible with his BOOTS.
    The creatures are also awesome.

Welcome to conceptart! I see that you have some experience in the field already. My favorites are the girl with the crazy smile( real original, im serious ) and the video game drawings.

I hope you post more stuff soon!

Hahaha! Hey Sedone, thats a cool avatar picture! Yeah man, I hope you post some stuff real soon. You gotta show people some of your new work.

I'm happy you guys like the work. With any characters that I draw on my spare time, I'm going to try and keep it on the level of detail in line and shadow as the girl with the crazy smile, and try to go past that.

Hey Yaseck, yeah man, when I was drawing the first blue character (megaman), I was wondering how he would walk too. In the videogame, they somehow managed to animate him doing that. Heh, I must have exaggerated the boots a little too much.

Iwasink, I'll post a few more things, and AmadorL, the site wasn't working before cause I messed up the link to it the first time but it's fixed now. Click on the "My Website" link, it works.

Wat dee FAK meng!? Your stuff is pretty damn HOT I gotta say. I'm interested in your colouring technique on the mega man pic. I'm going to guess at markers, pencil crayons and some photoshop touches. Anyway, really love the subtle texture going on there. Oh and to hell with walking logistics! This is an impact piece, your entitled to some "stylistic streamlining".
If I had to crit anything it would be the font you used for your name, email etc. Its boring and your name deserves better .

    Oh, and welcome.

PS Do you know of Wayshak? Similar style you might like.

Hey Keenerbean, no, I don't think I've seen Wayshak's art before. Does he have a website? And yeah, that font I used for megaman is pretty crappy. It was one of those things were I wanted to do more with the type, get a better font or something, but I never got around to it. But I'll be changing it very soon now. Oh yeah, ChadTHX is right I used photoshop to color Megaman. All the darker shaded tones I shaded with regular pencil then I colorized those areas in photoshop so it looked a little like color pencil.

Hey Sean, waddup! Yeah man, finally posted some work, took me a while, I just had to find the time.

Fozzybar, I'm glad you like my style man. I'm gonna try to post some new stuff here soon.

Hey mr. Magnetic head, Tankor would be an interesting character to design, I forgot all about him, probably one of the best designed character in Beast Machines to me. Most of the other designs were kinda weak compared to the designs in Beast Wars. Maybe I will draw him for fun on my spare time one of these days. I do want to do another tranformer picture.

Sup Joshua they call the James Shaw!

Glad you guys like the work!

Hey man a big WELCOME to the forum!
Good to see another houston peep around.
Especially one with such great work. Your stuff is bangin' on my screen. The extra definition you gave to mega man is just brilliant.

    Thanks Grooveholms.

Yeah you guys, I'm gonna try to post some more stuff here. By the way, at ADVfilms I work with a pretty talented team. There's Chad Townsend who you all know as (ChadTHX), Ted Galaday which I think he's posted at Concept Art before, and Sedone who I think is quite known to this forum already. Just wanted to let everyone know that we all have new artwork we may want to show on Concept Art so keep your eyes peeled for these guys just in case they decide post. If they do, it'll be pretty exciting.

Hey Jason Manley, whats up. Heh heh, Tetsuo :p Yeah, color is what I'm currently re-analyzing much further than I've done before to put myself on the level I should be on. I should have better colored stuff, both painted and graphically stylized, posted sooner or later. Keep a look out for it.

    Chris

Oh yeah, by the way, I had forgotten what the definition of what the term "Kung Fu" really meant. Me and my friends last year when I first found out were suprised it meant what you wrote above this post. Before then I always thought it meant a better fighting style than Karate. I learned a lot of stuff after reading some of Bruce Lee's books.
