I dig the medusa chick, the inks on the profile are really solid. Ant's head is cool too, maybe go in with some white acrylic to pull some highlights and details in, and push the shadows to give it some contrast. There's some good tension and movement in your earlier sketches too. Keep posting!

    jca- Thanks!
sideshowbob- Most of it is pen, but I do also enjoy using a brush for inking. Zirkus Affe is german for Circus Monkey. I'm not german, but I speak a little.
artkitty- Yeah, I would like to bring some highlights out, maybe even do a series based on closeups of insects.

Well, I've had a busy day, so I didn't really get a chance to sketch today. I know, I know. Here's some sketches for a tshirt I'm doing. It's for a local coffee place, and it's going to end up a two color job. Nothing spectacular.

    its missing something...

I think the pic you are doing for the shirt is nice but... its missing something. It took me a while to figure out what it was but I think it might be better if she had ears... obviously one would be covered by hair, but the other one should have the hair brushed behind (maybe) another thing is her right leg seems a little ... I dunno small. very nice other than that... I like the hand gestures

bah just noticed something else when the lip of the cup goes behind her it doesnt really come out right on the other side... a little skewed, but then hell it is just a sketch so....

    Howdy!

You've got some cool sketches... as for some critiques on the coffee shop shirt, everything Thalas said plus she doesn't seem to be seated on the bottom of the bowl... looks like she's floating or propped up. Also, her right leg and arm seem a little too long to me... but, it's a qork in progress, and I have no idea what girls in the 50's looked like so, that's just my 2 cents.

    Keep it up, man!

I enjoyed the medusa sketch... as for the woman in the cup I liked as well, though I agree that she doesnt seem to be placed at the bottom of the cup, I also think that her right hand should be placed inside the cup or either her right elbow should be placed inward... that way her arm looks rested on the edge of the cup rather then floating...

    just my opinion...
I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected, enough to step aside and, weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human...
