WIP--Vampi, Harris Comics, 1st painting in Painter

Done over my own drawing, blah, blah, blah. Maybe about 1/3-1/2 the way done. Mostly as practice. Will maybe add another figure in behind.

    What're the thoughts?

Pretty damn spiffy for a first attempt in Painter! I like the flesh tones. You've brought the higlights up too far on her skin, however. They're more intense than the highlights on everything else.

Her upper body, espeacially left shoulder is perfect. This post modern manga Vampirella character also one of my favourite.

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone. I appreciate it. With my schedule full of comic books stuff, it is hard to fit in painting, which I love to do. Thank goodness for computers or I would NEVER paint.

    heh.

that looks absolutely great! I love the pose, and the detail on her blades is sick! BTW what brush / tools did you use in painter? Im still trying to figure out what everone uses...
