Just droping bye to say Hi!
You know, i just spent 30 minutes looking thru the whole sb, even tho i had a lot of work to do. (jeez, its 00.20 AM here and I'm at the office :| ),
I really want to congradulate you, these 3 pages are pure proggres. I really wish I had your attention to crits and detail. The face studies are coming out better and better!
Thanks Oma, hope your right!
Le Gab! Nice to see you here, thx for the comment mate! Now get back to work! :]
Ah, Flaskpost! Long time no see! Yes I just recently picked up drawing again, you got internet back?
Some new stuff. Pretty much all without ref except the lizard and some of the hands.
Poses. I put a star next to the ones I liked.
Jeez, this thread is old. Maybe I should make a new one, but then again maybe its good to have the old stuff to see the progress.
I have been drawing on and off for the last two years even though I havent been active on the forums. I got a scanner now so it'll be a bit easier to update my sketchbook.
Some recent stuff.
15 second poses
30 sec poses
maybe you'll recognise a few of the faces...
Nice work mate, good overall improvement aswell. I would make one suggestion however and that is to loosen up a little. Your line work appears really clean on some of your sketches, and in terms of practice I find the best progress is made from working loose and not caring how ugly the picture may look Sounds silly I know, but go crazy and you'll discover a thing or 2. Colors look great on that lighthouse btw, really going places!
It feels too plasticy, any advice on how to fix it appreciated!
About 4 hours more.
Something i made in Blender + PS
Then some wierd heads and a speedpaint from a photo.
Trying to loosen up as Pencil Rebellion suggested.
