    Hey Jace,

I am still swamped with my transition to my new job and city . I won't be able to make the Tdome deadline of the 5th. I am still working on my piece so perhaps when we are done you can post them in the Finished Section just for fun.

    Is that cool?

    peace,

    -Joshua James

your sketches are spirited and so very expressive and dynamic. i love your work, you have very powerful conceptual visions and every piece of yours has fucking wicked style in it.
drunken tutorial is so very communicatory. i am happy i got to see it.

Damn that's looking cool. FINISH IT! Im curious what the theme is...

That character design for the T-Dome is great, so nice and loose...so much energy and emotion. You make it look easy.

How is the job situation going these days? I cant believe you arent running the illustration dept at WETA yet...

    Keep going!~~~Patrick

Your stuff is amazing Rusty, in the last batch I love the Wolverine pic, that's desktop material, also amazing work on the TDome piece - I admire your sense of value and lighting. Great thread.

I agree with Cake.... you must be stopped at all costs. You're lucky you're down there in NZ, it buys you some time to escape from our abduction plans

hehe, it's awesome to be gone for a few days and come back to 5 more cubic ass-tonnes of Rusty-homespun-goodness

Keep truckin' playa' - that page with the bot and the face blew my mind. Great design with the drawings.

    ROCK ON!

hahah the guy says hes lazy and he still rocks out some great sketches.
I really enjoy the robot with the big red eye, but overall I really like the gritiness of the all these "lazy" sketches..

I booted one of my own pieces and made your Marley my desktop, so thank you very much for that I love the new updates, love your tutorial, and just dig your style on every conceivable level.

one day soon the name "Rusty" will be synonymous with the phrase insane nasty shiznit wrecking havoc upon the earth...if it isn't already!

ok now i remember what i was going to say before i forgot.. .

don't change! don't be influenced by too much or you'll lose the extra-special rusty-ness. i guess i'm trying to say is i hope you learn lots from artists, and try new things, but don't let it strip your originality away.. away...
