You already know what I had to say about the sp's right?
Keep pluggin away at them, the top one is the best one, most free, complete. Like the second one's hand too.
Keep pushing! Despite what you keep saying you are advancing.

Watercolours look good so far. Try varying tones, especially skintones to give more depth. Experiment more with different colours mixing together, its what makes watercolour so fun to use. Pay attention to the warm and cool areas and add tones to fit, such as reds around nose, mouth, eyes, cheeks, and cooler blues and greens in other areas.
Also, try using some real brushes, not just the water brushpen, it creates different effects.

Nice scetches. thx for stopping at my sb. Like yours.
This one came out realy nicely
    http://www.projectsole.ca/gallery/al...s/scan0009.jpg
I'd advise you to use watercolourpaper and experiment some more with what those colours can do. Like this one nevertheless
    http://www.projectsole.ca/gallery/al...0-17.01.06.jpg
You might want to watch out for proportions some more. Legs tend to be too short and eyes are too big on last sp.
    So long...

be aware with proportion the back and the neck is often more higher than normal , your last watercolor (?) kicks ass!

Nice work, some of your best life drawings so far!
Watch the form more, dont just fill in areas of darker value, understand the structure, and if you have to stick to a single area to render it fully. If not, block in the shadows by following the form!
Last watercolour is your best one! I would have prefered you didnt use the black on the face like that, but looks good nonetheless!

    Cool,
what were you trying to accomplish with the arm studies? Were you using ref? It would help with getting the structures right.
Sp looks pretty cool, weird, and cool. Eyes turned out good, but the expression is kinda creepy.

Hey, thx for stoping by at my sb. Your last watercolour turned out realy great.
Specialy love how you painted her face. Everything matches to each other (except for the bright red under her left knee, it distracts (legs are too short/ thin))
Also glad to see you watching more for proportions, like on this one http://www.projectsole.ca/gallery/al...s/scan0021.jpg. But tell me, why do you barely ever draw the feet. Its a tricky part of the body, I know, but it can be same expressive as hands or face it also shows where bodyweight goes to.
Great you're doing those 100x... studies, keep em coming.

    So long...

The watercolour stuff is nice. I find it to be a super hard medium, so kudos to you.

I noticed some mistakes you seem to be making with your faces, though. Whenever you draw heads from a profile, you're drawing the eyes too far out on the face. Remember, skulls have sockets. Try doing skull studies to hit this one home, it should help.
On a similar note, a deal of your 3/4th head view drawings seem to have the eye on the narrow side too far out. Remember, the nose is covering a lot of that, so you generally won't see the inner part of the eye.

The figure studies are looking really nice - your proportions and centre of gravity seem to be spot on. Your lines are looking good - they're confident; not 'petted' in all the time. There's a ton of progress in this sketchbook, so be proud of all the hard work you've put into your hobby, if you haven't already.

Keep it up, pal! (And sorry for not commenting earlier )

Man amir, what the hell is wrong with you? Toblerone? Man youre twisted.

Also, the hands thing seems intriguingly erotic, but I already told you that.
Figures look good, but theyre so LIGHT, either ink em, trace em with pencil, or adjust levels before I sue you for damage to my eyes man.

Like the playing with expression in the SP's though, last one is downright orgasmic. Must be the toblerone

Like the feel to your sp's a lot. (Didn't know you guys have Toblerone in Canada)
Each one of these shows a lot bout you (how you felt at that moment)
Their styles vary, wich is great. Never the less it would not hurt to try capture a detailed version of what you look like. That requires lots of practice though.
Judging from your improvement and amount you work, this should actualy be of no real problem though.
    Cheers

Hey man, just wanted to drop by and give props. I agree with Fats, you've improved tons, and it's just getting started. Keep trying different media, I gotta step onto that train myself. Seems like Socks been influencing everyone lately, now we all just have to catch up. And thanks for calling the show man! I hope calling from Toronto didn't cost much, if anything. The fax line was being a mofo all night. Are you going to the workshop? Anyways, keep it up man!

Some very interesting studys you have here man! I think you need to tighten up on those lips! they seem to be allways flat and remember theres all ways the V shape in the middle of the top lip! They work on a cylinder there not flat! Allso some more nose studys would really push it... Keep working at it!
