GOD DAMN IT! where do these kids come from?

    http://ukitakumuki.deviantart.com/

What's with kids these days. Can't an 18yo just be a mediocre artist, like I was? To be this good at that age I would have had to be sketching since I was inside the womb. Bastards.

Seriously, check this guy's stuff out.

Never too late. Grab a pencil. It never hurts to keep drawing.

Got 2 more years till I become 19... Hope I can get there... hope... don't think it can help me here.

Believe it or not, but people do peak too. So who knows? You might just be a late bloomer. Being a good artist doesn't happen overnight. It's also a cumilative effect too, so the more you do the better you get.

Honestly, I'm a little envious, but this kind of thing doesn't actually discourage me in any way. I'm not as good as a lot of folks, because for a lot of years I didn't put in the effort necessary to get that good. I never lose faith that I will get there though, I'm an eternal optimist. After all, if Mickelson can win a Major, and my Red Sox can win a World Series, I have no doubt that, with time and effort, I can become a great artist.

The point of posting this was really just to let people see this guy's stuff, cuz it is really very good.

yeah, I have seen some of those before, but I looked at some newer stuff. No question about it, the guys got skill, and a wicked style too. O well, guesss I'll just keep plugging along with what I'm doing now.

I've seen really good artists around my age when I was 18 (gee that was almost 10 years ago). But here I am still plugging away, while those fellas who are way ahead of everyone else their age (and those older) have stopped the trade....saying no one will pay them to do what THEY want to do....or some other excuses to waste the talent away.

The ones with staying power are harder to come by. Drawing from 15 to 75 and beyond is not easy.

This doesn't discourage me at all. I'm trying my hardest to do my thing. Sheesh I got a whole lifetime to do this. And if it's cut short oh well I had a good run and fun making art. If I stop now (Which no way in hell i would) and start back at 40 I'd still do just fine.

It’s like the old saying “Age is nothing but a number”. If you got skills dose anyone really care how old you are? Nope… - Another good saying – “Practice practice and then practice some more… We all have the same equipment so there is nothing someone can do that you can’t do. Remember that and you will never get discouraged only inspired.

    Oh for fucks sake.

Whenever I see an 18 or 19 year old -or anyone younger than me- with this kind of talent and skill, my ego shrivels down to an insignificant heap of misery.

    DAMN.

I hope he amazes the world with his talent. He should.

yer its a bitch to see such great artists at young ages. It does cause a jealousy rise in me, but it also causes a determination in me too.. it is like being punched in the face and then given the energy to stand back up..

one day, ill get there. when i do i know i will probably see the persons art again to be only much more better than before. rendering the same emotion as before...

oh well.. theres nothing you can do about it. some ppl have it.. some ppl dont.. or some just have to work harder to get it
