Yet another class assignment completed. This time I was instructed to make a bust of a 19th century character from literature or from life. I chose to do Robert E. Lee. Here are some early pics of the maquette and in progress shots.
In the early stages of the final sculp, I decided to go without the hat.
So here is the final piece.
