hey, lewiston..; killler update... Im going to love to see the updates on this one for sure... If I could make a crit though (oh, god.. Vigostar making a Crit on Lewistons work.. ) I believe you said that you wanted a girl but, that person smoking a stogie really looks masculine right now... I guess its all the muscle mass showing through... maybe if you gave her some earings.. or something really girly... like a nice necklace.. with those cool turquoise stones that girls where now... hmmm, just a thought... amazing work on the colors though.. i really have to learn how to color in photoshop like the pros do... keep us updated!!!
Mainloop- man i must be dyslexic.. cuz i thought you asked how many people are on lsd

blahm - thanks man, trying to get there...
main loop - cheers for the props. really enjoyed your work too!
flex - man, really glad to have a note from you in my book again. amazing new updates in yours!!
vigo - really funny man - you always hit what I felt too. In fact I was trying to give her earrings though, but found it wouldn't fit the mood. I think you're right, man, gotta give her some badass earpiercers...
csteingart - thanks for the appreciation..

hey, lewiston.. thos last two especially the red one is right on.. reminds me of tron!!! i like the design.. I think the orange dude needs a zipper in the front.. I think it would be cool if you made it like a jumpsuit.. like the mechanics wear!!! In the other WIP.. is the window open???? if so.. I see that the trend with the females now are like the very dangling type.. with either feathers or little chains attached to stones and such... DSIllustration did a painting and the girl had the type Im speaking of with the feathers.. if not maybe something simple like a circle or a triangle... with a lrage center stone.... or maybe an earring with a chain attached to her nose piercing.. anyways.,,. enough ideas... glad to see you updating... to bad you didnt make it for the Last Man standing TD!! I got DNSK first round! wish me luck!!!

I like the car chase scene, but, to keep it coherent I personally would've done a rough color over the whole thing before I started tightening certain sections, in order to keep a more coherent composition, maybe do some thumbnails and rough in the rest of the composition before you try to render more? just a thought.

Well, there is nothing to crit.
You´ve got really cool stuff, man. And it´s a big motivation to work on my anatomy and rendering style.

HAven't popsted for long, but there is a new project of mood-boarding and production design for a feature film coming up. Just in the stage of creating a look. Still work in progress especially at the mothers hand and the kids clothes and details...I know I am not quite there yet, but maybe you guys can help me push it further...
Here is the first pic, the opening scene. The mum and her two kids are trying to escape over the border, while this dark knight is on their track (in the following sequence killing the mother by riding her over...).../ What do you think

vigo - the car scene is a kind of put on ice, until i'll have some time off... thanks for the crit man. And rock the Last Man Standing, man!!

mr blonde - You're so right, but this image started growing randomly, so now here I am, having trouble to get it together... thanks for the input! Really enjoyed seeing how you're working (especially in terms of colourwork)

johnny - thanks man. Ja, habs endlich hinter mir und sitze jetzt bei FOA fest... Kannst Dir ja vorstellen das da nicht viel Zeit bleibt.... Was machst du?

tigermilk - thank you sir. hope it'll be finished soon too...

ramon - thanks man. really dig your work too. keep rocking.

    Hi,

Very nice sketchbook. Decided to post a reply this time
Regarding your last post, Maybe you could lift the level of depth by creating another pannel on the near foreground, or zoom in a bit and make your characters the foreground. It could be interesting to zoom in only on the height of the kids faces. To get your point of view a bit lower and make them look back at the knight and see the anxiety in their faces
( I'm thinking of a piece of another pro here on CA but don't remember who. And he made a Hansel and gretel pic. I think it had the kind of mood you're trying to achieve here. maybe someone remembers what i'm talking about )

    Anyway, love your stuff man
    Cheers
    Tom

Great work, that last one is gorgeous! Especially the little girl's face.
