    Xpose's new thread *Nudity warning*

I'm back, after scanner problems and everything. I'm just going to make this thread instead of finding my old one.

I've been kinda slacking on my life studies but here's two

Good start on the new sketchbook. Your work from December 26th is your best I think. More life drawings help everything though! Good start, man!

Extremely cool! That reminds me of a tree near my house where racoons live haha. Creepy drawing, I like it!

Hi there. I think everyone has proportion issues to some degree or other. You seem to exaggerate the upper body, especially the head: it's probably natural, as we focus more attention on people's faces. I'm finding that I constantly have to reference back to other parts of my drawing to keep things in check, and it's pretty difficult sometimes. I sometimes just lay down a few lines then stand back to check they're roughly in proportion.

You've got some nice ideas there, and I think that head on the bottom left from Christmas Eve is looking good. Good stuff.

Thank man! I really appreciate the words of encouragment. I'm trying to get my heads smaller and I'm working on making my hands better. The hand studies are from life.

Thank you Icey! The more honesty the better! My life is hell right now and drawing is my stress releaser... When I do it from life I don't get the same result. I know I need to do it to get better, I just never get to it. I'm going to try really hard to push more out. Thanks again!
