    eljay- Great stuff.:chug:

You should start your own figure drawing session, I run one with a friend of mine a couple days a week and it's not that hard, plus it can be any format you want. If you live close to a college . dance studio, theatre, etc. Those are great places to find models.

eljay - great stuff. I like the first one the most because the colors and values are great.

I've been working on my website, so no time for speed paintings. Once I get it done I am going to be doing a ton of speed paintings. fun fun. OH check out what I have so far at chrismayernik.com

25 minutes in photoshop cs. I downloaded the demo and was trying to figure out how to use the new custom keys and stuff. Thats why it took so long.
If anyone knows of a colorwheel plugin for photoshop could you please show me. I don't like having to always click the color box to pick my color. I would love to have the color wheel always out.

chris - Thanks! I checked out your site, real nice solid professional looking design. Good job. Nice pic too, aside from the large butterfly it looks natral, almost like ink on paper or somthing.

DaveTheOriginal - thanks, nice dynamic pose

Bojee - thanks! Thats a good idea, theres a college on the otherside of town from me and a dance school acros the street. I think I could get enoughf people to go in on this where it might work. What do you pay your models? How do you go about setting it up? I mean, did you make flyers or somthing? I think I would feel awkward just showing up at the dance studio and just asking around... hummm .. I gues the flyer thing sounds good... Thanks for the idea, I think im going to try it.

The last few days I have been trying to pick natral colors and valu from imagination, dooing all them ref studys realy helped me sorta .... I think I realy have to just sit down one day and just take my time dooing one of these things, I guess that would disqualify it from beeing a speed paint but, I mean ... ya know, I realy rush trough these things.

and to justify my banter ... no ref photoshop 20 min thing .. whats perspective again?

eljay- I started off to respond to you here and it didn't seem appropriate. Check out the life drawing forum for my response, hopefully there'll be enough info to get you started. I've also asked other people for feedback. Here's the link.

    drawing session info.

    I hope you do it.

    eljay: nice one

I like this one a lot. I can see room for improvement but something about it I like. Anyways, I made a ton of custom brushes for this one. Most likely once I get my website done I will have the brushes up for download on my site.

    image details :

Time it took : 3 hours.
program used : photoshop cs ( I got the 30 day trial )
    Image reference used : NL007217 www.corbis.com

    Ok enjoy, Bye
